This projected involved designing and developing a custom SASS application for a 25 year old business. The software initiative changed the face of the company and made them significantly more competitive moving into 2020 and beyond.

For what projects/services did your company hire Luminoguru Pvt Ltd?

I hired Luminoguru Pvt to assist in making significant changes to the SASS application MVP legacy code, assessing the application design, envisioning areas of improvement and implementing those.

What were your goals for this project?

The primary goal of this project was to being the SASS MVP to a V2 state and if possible create a team that could carry the required project design and development into the future.

How did you select this vendor?

I chose Luminoguru PVT for this project based on previous smaller projects I have worked with them on. I found them initially through an online development resource site.

Luminoguru Pvt provides design, engineering, programming, testing, project management and marketing assistance services.

What was the team composition?

The make of the team varies from project stage. Each stage we are able to build out a team custom tailored to the required effort. This has proven to be both efficient and cost effective.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The budget for the project has continued to grow as the SASS application adoption increases. Several other projects for the team have been identified and are underway. The capabilities the company now enjoys through this collaboration have made it more competitive and valuable to it's clients.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management is done remotely with daily stand up calls and remote sessions. This approach has made all team members working time more efficient and has allowed the projects to maintain momentum and control.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Luminoguru Pvt has been a great partner. All team members share the same passion for the end result of the work and core objectives of the project. They have been excellent to communicate with and their ability to understand the business logic behind the application requirements and deliver efficient, tested code against them has been impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

One can always improve but there is nothing glaring that needs immediate attention.

We offer services in passive fire protection in Sweden since 1998. I am the CFO of the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Luminoguru Pvt Ltd?

For every project we leave a printed documentation of our work. We had started working on an online application to replace printed papers but did not succeed to deploy it. We contacted Luminoguru Pvt Ltd to continue working with the existing application to make it work. As the project went on we decided to give the application a whole new design and backend.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to replace our documentation on printed papers to be completely digital. That would result in a more effective process in documenting our work and handing it over to the customer.

How did you select this vendor?

We used Upwork to help us search for and select which company to collaborate with. Luminoguru Pvt Ltd did an excellent job in presenting it's team and how they would go forward with the project. They had resources available when needed to adjust after demand.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They started to get an understanding of our company and what services we offered. Then they started working on our existing application to make it ready to deploy. Thanks to their through investigation and preparation we found several flaws in our existing app and things to make different and better. We had much ideas and they were helpful filtering them out in order to move forward. As I previously mentioned we decided to give the app a new design and a new more robust backend.

What was the team composition?

We mainly had contact with two team members discussing project related questions and economy. The team would consist of different designers and developers depending on the need.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

As of today we have used the application on 215 projects. The response from our customers is overwhelming. They are greatly impressed with our application and it has generated more customers through word-of-mouth. I

t has also allowed us to collaborate with different companies involved in the projects that we usually did not. It has also allowed us to continue develop and streamline our company to reach more profit and effectiveness.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management was impressive and very straight forward. We used Trello to communicate different parts of the application and to visualize different steps of the designing and development process.

Slack were used to communicate deadlines and other questions. Jira were used to register issues. Even though we are from completely different parts of the would the communication was flawless. No issues were caused by a language barrier or time difference.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I think that their uniqueness is built upon the fact that they have a flexible team that can increase or decrease with the project. They were fast to understand new business types and services they'd previously never heard of. It was a pleasure talking with them. We formed a strong connection. They had all the skills needed and solved advanced issues still keeping costs at a minimum.

Are there any areas for improvement?

This may sound too good to be true but there is not a thing that I think should have been done differently.
