Luminocity AG is a Swiss software-development agency in Schaffhausen with deep specialty in real-time 3D, AR/VR/XR, browser-native game engines, AI integration in 3D pipelines, and AEC plugin engineering.

Alongside selective paid engagements with external customers, we ship internal product lines that demonstrate the team's range:

Lemonate (lemonate.io): a complete open-source 3D game engine and editor running entirely in the browser. Built ground-up by our team. LUA scripting for game logic; full engine API across rendering, physics (rigid bodies, vehicle, NavMesh), positional audio, particles, materials, shaders, and Gaussian Splat scene objects. Source code public on Codeberg. AR/VR/XR work: a native Meta Quest VR application released January 2026, with custom Unity-integrated ASTC texture decompression in C++ for Quest performance. Earlier work includes hardware-emulation for VR device manufacturers.

GeoVision (geovision.cloud): cloud BIM viewer built on Speckle, with custom Revit and Archicad plugins covering PBR materials, lighting, and exposed metadata. Companion Unity 6 HDRP desktop app with AI photorealistic rendering.

3D Replicas: productized 3D Gaussian-Splatting digital twins for cultural heritage, museums, and architectural sites. Our team's senior engineers carry 20+ years of cumulative experience shipping advanced 3D systems with a cross-platform C++ core.

Past work includes industry-standard media servers used globally since 2007 in Eurovision Song Contests and large-scale 3D projection mappings, and the MVX 2D/3D/4D file format presented at Siggraph 2016.

We engage through a delivery-pod model: you describe what you need built; we handle execution internally (engineering, project management, QA); you receive working deliverables on the agreed cadence.
