The application was designed specifically for clinics, where there was no centralized or standardized system for managing and booking healthcare services. Previously, most processes were handled via phone calls or through disconnected software solutions, leading to inefficiencies and lack of visibility.

By leveraging an architecture aligned with FHIR standards, the team worked toward building a solution capable of integrating multiple clinics with a centralized data approach. This enabled a more unified and scalable system, moving toward a SaaS-based model where clinics could manage their operations within a single platform.

While a fully mature SaaS model was not fully implemented within the project timeline, the overall vision was clear: to allow administrators to easily set up the system within a clinic via a subscription model, giving each clinic the flexibility to manage workflows according to their internal processes and resources.

The main aim was to roll out the registration module for the patient portal, with the possibility of adjusting the application and users from the administrator side (working application in one specific clinic)

Key deliverables included user-friendly dashboard, a role-based web integration, real-time IoT analytics on pesticide usage and operator efficiency, weed identification and density, alerts and notifications. Lionwood provided UX/UI design, its implementation and technical documentation.

Reduced pesticide usage and costs – dashboards provided real-time tracking of herbicide use and savings, helping cut chemical waste;

Centralized data access; Quicker decision-making – managers could act quickly using AI-analyzed imagery, weed density mapping, and alerts.

They are very easy to work with on the project management side. They deliver on time and also go the extra mile in standing by their quality of work without bothering the client about little things. The team communicated very well and provided frequent reports about the project ensuring quality, summary of bugs fixed and traceability for a great project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Not only did they conduct an assessment properly scoping the work, they also delivered the necessary features needed for a complex analytics dashboard that integrated seamlessly into our application. The software team easily took up our git repo and was able to start working quickly, reduced bugs over time and were flexible enough to work with our timezones.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Lionwood.software could have done differently?

I don't score a 5 for Lionwood lightly, but I have been thoroughly impressed by this company and believe they deserve a top score. I intend to use their professional services in many other capacities as we grow our business and quite frankly, I will furthermore judge other consulting companies with the "Lionwood Standard" for what software projects should look like. I think they have room to use AI to help their development processes. New innovative tools like Gemini, Codex and Claude could significantly support their developers deploy code even faster.

The decision was made to refactor the software using native Salesforce functionality which was not available at the time of initial development.

Lionwood created a proxy API that connected the front end APP to AI model using AWS Bedrock Console to connect to Claude.ai to create customized training for constructoin workers. The second part of the validation was to have the trainer send the training to the workers and have the worker respond to the trainer. Technologies used were Angular, Node.js and the Whatsapp API.

Testing demonstrated that a trainer could successfully customize safety awareness and mitigation training in English or any language for specific trade specialists based on a construction task. Once the training was created, it could be sent to workers' phone via WhatsApp.

It was a very trusting collaboration. Of course, not everything in a larger project always goes exactly according to plan, but good cooperation proves itself in precisely these moments. The communication with the stakeholders was excellent, the needs around our software solution were well understood.

During the further development they were always looking for optimization and the best way to achieve revenue for all stakeholders, which in my opinion is an outstanding feature of the developers and the project management.

I’m the VP of Technology for AgSource, a herd and dairy farm management software company.

We’ve hired Lionwood.software to modernize our application to better scale and onboard larger dairy farms into the system without creating data backlogs. We have internally operating software primarily used to help our customer service representatives send reports to farmers managing dairy farms. The software aims to be able to manage and send out health values and statistics for our dairy farms.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Lionwood.software is updating our web-based application to address scalability and modernize the tech stack. We are moving to AWS microservices and ETL tools; we currently use a .NET core.

We work with about six individuals from Lionwood.software.

How did you come to work with Lionwood.software?

I don’t have the answer to that question. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $100,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t rolled out the modernization effort yet because the product is still in development, but we’re hoping that it will help us in our goal of scaling. 

How did Lionwood.software perform from a project management standpoint?

We haven’t been thrilled with the initial project managers, and the project has taken longer than we thought it would. However, this is something that we’ve actively been trying to resolve, and we’ve recently been assigned a new project manager. We’ve also added a technical project manager to help ensure estimates are accurate. We use the Atlassian suite of products and Slack for project management.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is dedicated, efficient, and we appreciate their work.
