Please describe your company and your position there.

I work for The Concept Store by Asian Group of Companies as a Senior Marketing Executive. We are a pioneering company specialized in supplying Hardware material and related products for the construction industry. The Concept Store is the retail wing of Asian Group which caters the consumer market with innovative hardware & home improvement products.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Konekt, and what were your goals?

We initially built a website with a company which lasted for few years. Though it was a ecommerce site with other web features it didn't serve the purpose. We couldn't make any proper sales out of it because the customer had to go through a rigorous journey to check out an order.

Thanks to konekt team with whom we started our ecommerce journey properly. The website is on woo commerce and pretty much all the features of a ecommerce site is covered and we are enjoying the sales now.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We came across one of their advertisements during the period of searching for one and their monthly subscription offer was the most deciding factor for us.

It was during a pandemic lockdown period we started with them. A few initial google meets is what it took to start building things. Based on the initial requirements they designed and proposed the UI part and from there we suggested the changes we want and provided all the information and got the website done in almost a month.

The website is built on WordPress & Woo commerce.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Actually it was 2 people. One was involved in the initial level discussions and the other continued till the end.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The launch of the website we started seeing actual sales which we didn't for years with the old website & partner. We were confident enough to run campaigns and drive traffic and was pretty sure that customers would have a smooth journey in placing orders.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

As explained earlier the project started during a lockdown and all the meets were online and email communications plus a little bit of Whatsapp chats.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They offered to run an ecommerce site with a lightweight monthly subscription basis without loading us with a big set up cost.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The areas of improvement would be to add more features to the ecommerce site they are offering like more types of product promotional tools such as product bundling, etc.
