I am the owner of DKP Productions. We create apps that are needed for certain types of users.

For what projects/services did your company hire Kodex Technologies , and what were your goals?

I had an app that was for record keeping and I hire Kodex Tech to build the web version so users can have their data across multiple platforms. The job was to be completed in 6 weeks.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found Kodex on upwork and I choose them based on reviews from other clients and their work experience. They seemed to have what i needed.

I hired them to create a web version to sync with my already created mobile apps.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

they had about 4 to 5 people working on my web app.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was never completed. when i clicked on the web version link it opened to a bad link page. I submitted this complaint to Kodex several times and showed them screenshots of it not opening and all they said is they finished it.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They used sykpe for communication but I was promised they would work during my hours in the US but they lied about that too. They were only available for a few hrs in my early morning.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

NOTHING

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES. OH AND SOMETHING SO FUNNY IS THEY BLAMED ME FOR THE APP NOT WORKING. ISNT THE DEVELOPER SUPPOSE TO MAKE THE APP WORK. HOW IS THE CLIENT RESPONSIBLE. LOL I used them on upwork and

1. they could not fix the items I hired them to fix,
2. The big job i asked them to create took them 5 months and they did not finish it but for me to get my code to have someone else finish it i had to pay them the rest of the money.

I have worked with other developers but I have never had anyone be more dishonest and hold my project hostage for money. I had paid them 2600 already and was not asking for that back I just did not want to paid the final 500 because they did not finish the app but i was forced to to get my code. RUN AWAY FROM KODEX.

We had an idea which we want to develop from the scrap. We were looking for technology partners who can guide us and propose mature business solutions. The entire scope of this project was including

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They understood our business idea well and from the very start we stayed on the right track. They shared a complete project plan with us on sprint basis and we followed the project plan from the start till end. We were happy with the final product that Kodex Tech team developed for us.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Well, in the very start it was not looking good but when we finalized our scope of work and they shared complete project plan with us after that things got very easy for us. We had weekly demo sessions with the project lead and overall it was a good experience with this team. They delivered the project as per the agreed timeline. So, overall I would say they addressed our needs well and fulfil their commitment on a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their communication skills and development practices were the most impassive for us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Kodex Technologies could have done differently?

They managed our project well but it would be better if we could have the chance to connect with the development team as well. Because through out the project we had only single point of contact.
