I’m the director of an energy and gas company. We deal with quite a few big businesses, and we handle their electricity and gas accounts.

We needed someone to develop our billing software.

What was the scope of their involvement?

kamliyasoft built our billing software, and it was a CMS on an online server. The team managed all of our coding needs, and they used CodeIgniter, MySQL, HMTL, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for the frontend. In doing so, it allowed us to run our software on a local server and on ExcelServer.

We could input the electricity usage value in the software and once we confirm that everything was accurate, the software would send the bill information to customers. They linked something on my email, too. Now, the team is in charge of maintenance work.

There are 3–4 people involved in the project, and I'm in contact with their project manager.

This was my first time collaborating with a company to build a software. I went to a few people with my project, and kamliyasoft was the one who speedily replied to me. Above all, they could do the job for less price compared to the other offers we received.

Everything I tested has worked perfectly. Above all, we haven't encountered any bugs or security issues on our platform.

Their project management's alright. They return my calls within one day, and whenever I need to change anything, they're always on it. Our communication is also good, and we use Freelancer.com, WhatsApp, and phone to communicate.

They're good, and they work hard.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Rather than trying to do what they think would be good, they need to focus on their client’s identity and how they think. There's room for improvement because of our cultural and thinking differences, but it isn't a big thing.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make everything clear at the start so that they would build accordingly and deliver what you ask for. If you miss anything, it might get difficult for them. More importantly, don’t try to frequently change things.

The main deliverables were student login, analytics of the students and the backpanel for the admin. All were successfully completed by Kamliyasoft.
