I’m the COO of a yoga studio called Iso Yoga.

What challenge were you trying to address with Jumppace?

We needed help with putting together our mobile app and website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we sat down and talked with them to discuss our needs and describe exactly how we wanted the app and website to look. From there, they started with the work, developing and designing both platforms according to our specifications. Jumppace has also built an iOS and Android version of the app and added various features, such as music and livestreaming. Their team provides maintenance support as well. They address any problems or issues that we encounter.

The purpose of the app is to onboard students. They can find all the information there, including instructional videos, class schedules, and yoga events.

What is the team composition?

We work directly with two people from their side, including a project manager.

How did you come to work with Jumppace?

We found them through an online search. We actually interviewed several other companies, but we decided to go with their team because they seemed to be the best fit for the project.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in April 2022, and it’s an ongoing partnership.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve delivered the app sooner than we expected, and we’ve experienced no bugs or crashes so far. They’ve also added a couple of new features that we like.

How did Jumppace perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve stayed on budget and met all deadlines. We actually needed to speed up the development process, so they provided additional resources along the way. For communication, we use email, phone calls, and SMS.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their expertise in mobile app development is impressive. Some of the things that we wanted to add to our app were pretty new concepts and designs, so they really had to sit down with us to discuss everything in order to deliver exactly what we were looking for. They've also spent time explaining every step of the process, which is something we appreciate.

I wanted to create a tool to help dance instructors create choreography.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Jumppace is helping us to develop a website and apps for iOS and Android from scratch. We are only in the first phase of development, but so far we have focused on designing our logo and creating color schemes for our digital content. 

What is the team composition? 

So far, I have worked with three people. I originally spoke with someone who reached out to me to begin the process, and from there have worked with two different project managers. 

How did you come to work with Jumppace?

I found them online. I was looking at a mobile app that they created that was similar to what I wanted to do. Someone from their team then reached out to me and we set up phone calls to go through the services they would provide, what the process would look like, and the cost. 

How much have you invested with them?

The total project cost will be around $30,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began in June 2022, and it is an ongoing project. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Everyone that I have worked with so far has been excellent. We are only in the beginning stages of the project, but so far I have been very impressed with their designs. Everything that they’ve created so far has been very sleek and professional looking. 

How did Jumppace perform from a project management standpoint?

The project manager that I have been working with has been super responsive and reliable. Any time that I have had any kind of feedback they've been very responsive, and have updated it either that day or the next. 

Everything from Jumppace has been on time and within budget. I primarily communicate with the project manager through text messages, phone calls, and emails. We also use Teamwork and Google Meet for sharing screens.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Everyone at Jumppace has been very easy to talk to and optimistic about my idea. They spent a lot of time talking about their process and explaining how the project would work. They’re also very diligent about protecting my privacy and ideas. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

At this point, I don’t have any ways they could improve.

From the beginning, be clear about what exactly you want and what you’re looking for.
