A dedicated project manager was assigned to provide us the every update of the project. The project manager kept us updated about every changes or updates that were made without fail. Whenever there was any requirement they hired the dedicated developers and the size of the team increased and decreased according to the requirement.

We needed a partner to develop a website and a mobile app of an online learning platform for a number of our clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Jploft Solutions Pvt Ltd built a system, which allows us to create different profiles for different companies. Since several clients use the same system, we generate a different URL for each one. Within the web platform, various documents are available and assigned to certain members of staff. Then, there’s an assessment attributed to specific documents. Afterward, we can check that employees have read the content and track the amount of time a staff member spent on the assessment in addition to how many questions they got right or wrong. Basically, it delivers training packages. Jploft Solutions Pvt Ltd transferred the content from a traditional classroom environment to a mobile environment that’s compatible with phones, iPads, or laptops.

We’ve worked with a project manager who has communicated with our team regularly. Our project manager was knowledgeable about the whole process. One of the things we’ve liked about collaborating with them is that all our queries went through one person. That made the process quite easy. They had many people working on the website including web developers, designers, and app developers.

Firstly, a colleague recommended them. Their team had done quite a bit of work for him. We also looked at some other companies. Jploft Solutions Pvt Ltd was quickest in getting back to us and communication was good. The cost was a factor too. Their team wasn’t the cheapest but were cost-competitive certainly.

We started working with Jploft Solutions Pvt Ltd in March 2017 and completed the web platform in January 2019. Even though the site went live, we’ve continued to collaborate with their team regularly.

We’ve received overwhelming feedback from clients. They’ve been pleased with it. Before the launch of the platform, we were only working with one department of a large client. Now, we’re in talks about expanding our platform into other departments within that company, which is huge for us. It’s entirely attributable to the website working well and doing exactly what we wanted it to do.

We’ve used Skype with a lot of our clients overseas and that’s how we tended to work with the project manager from Jploft Solutions Pvt Ltd. We’ve also been in contact by e-mail regularly. We tended to get formal updates weekly. There has been a lot more contact than that because we’ve asked a lot of questions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve been so easy to work with. Their team has been quick to respond to any issues or any queries we’ve had. The fact that we’re in contact with one knowledgeable person all the time has made communication smooth. We’re not technically minded here; we know what we want but don’t necessarily know how to get it. When dealing with tech companies, it can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. But not with their team. Jploft Solutions Pvt Ltd has been down to earth. They’ve translated our ideas well.

No, not particularly. We’re happy working with them.

We’ve worked on this one project with them extensively. It went well for us. We don’t do a lot of these projects so I wouldn’t know how to advise anyone. But if they work as they’ve worked with us—one point of contact, one project manager—with every client then I think they’re on to a winner.
