What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I think a major factor in our success was that we were able to have various discussions with JIITAK members about the things we requested and the issues we shared. The project manager in charge of the project had a high level of understanding, so he was able to make recommendations in various directions, which deepened our business design. 

As a result, we were able to design an interface that was intuitive to show and easy to understand, even though two different points of interest existed in one application, so that users would not feel lost.

Basically, it was quite fast development. We spent a lot of time on testing, so we knew that we were maintaining quality well. We felt that our intentions were well communicated to the project manager, and there was no sense of uncertainty as to whether or not we had been communicated.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The entire team was energetic and enthusiastic, and the deliverables were solid and of high quality. Communication was easy and understanding, which saved us from a lot of checking work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something {provider_name} could have done differently?

Since this was my first request, it would have been nice if they had shared progress with me at least once a week. It was easy to understand because they actually showed us the progress using test flies. However, since we were presenting our services to government officials at the same time, it would have been better if we had known a little more in advance how far we could show them with a test flight.

• eBay does not support Japanese, and the process before and after listing an item in English is complicated, making it difficult to analyze hot-selling items, and thus making it difficult to increase profit margins.
• By simplifying the process of listing items in Japanese and provided an easy-to-access mobile app that automatically displays hot-selling items, eBay has created a platform that allows a wide range of users to sell overseas with confidence. We proposed feasible functions and solutions based on the voices of actual sellers who said, "I wish there were such a function. An engineer with experience in providing services linked to eBay was assigned to the development team as an external technical advisor.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In the education business, the system attracted many new clients because of its attractive functions that are on the point to solve their problems. People join the program as soon as we conduct sales using the system, and the satisfaction rate is also high, so there is little attrition rate. The high level of technology has given us a differentiation that other competitors cannot offer. Even though we raised the price, we were able to achieve great results with a low dropout rate because users were unable to do business without it.

It took a long time because of the integration with external services and requirements with high technical difficulties, but we were able to create a very good product. I think we were able to maintain a high level of user satisfaction because we were able to use the agile method of continuous implementation while working on our side. 

The speed of response was very fast, even through trial and error, and they were quick to make suggestions and come up with countermeasures. I have the impression that the response speed of maintenance and the person in charge is doing a good job.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Flexibility in development. They will come up with a solution that way. They are willing to thoroughly search for possible responses, not just "can't do" responses. They can search for solutions from all over the world.

Are there any areas for improvement or something JIITAK Inc. could have done differently?

I think a lot of it was unpredictable because it was about creating an idea that did not yet exist, with few similar services. I can't think of anything in particular that could be improved from JIITAK side.

Despite the inclination to book counseling sessions, logistical hurdles such as time limitations and geographical constraints have presented challenges. This makes it notably difficult for individuals to secure counseling appointments, as they struggle with managing their schedules and accommodating the necessary location.
• Perception of Counseling in Japan. In the context of Japan, counseling is predominantly associated with individuals facing mental health disorders, thereby creating a perception of high barriers to entry for counseling services. This prevailing impression can hinder individuals from seeking the support they require.

Referrals from clients.The quality of the proposed materials before and after app development was exceptionally high, making the process very comprehensible and leaving no room for uncertainties. The development was completed on schedule, allowing us to deliver the service to users within the planned timeframe. The emphasis on user-friendly design has resulted in minimal user inquiries regarding operations, and overall satisfaction with the usability of the product.

The members of JIITAK provided a sense of participation as integral team members rather than a mere outsourcing entity. Within our organization, there was a lack of thorough analysis of the current state of our online medical records. Recognizing this, JIITAK physically visited our clients and conducted joint interviews. This collaborative approach, coupled with their team structure, aligned well with the growth pace we were seeking. Furthermore, the clarity and logical nature of the designer's proposals ensured that progress always proceeded in a satisfactory manner. JIITAK's ability to explain the process in an understandable manner, even to our team members without prior app development experience, provided a significant sense of reassurance.

Although beyond the scope of development, I believe that being able to receive assistance with the marketing strategy after the service launch would provide even greater value.
