What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We asked them to do several things, such as making a whole website page and changing some settings; they delivered high-quality work in all of that, and we're satisfied with their work.

How did JHK Info Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

They are amazing, and they deliver every project on time. Also, their response time is quick, and they are always available to help. In terms of communication, we use Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our company is in Japan, so we do both  Japanese and English websites; I don't think they understand Japanese, but they're still doing it, and that's outstanding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — they have always delivered high-quality work.

I am the founder of a consumer tech startup in Malaysia. We engineer and create consumer tech devices.

What challenge were you trying to address with JHK InfoTech PVT. LTD?

We had prior experiences with bad web development teams, so we needed a very good and reliable development partner for our projects. JHK filled in that need.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We were about to launch a product, and JHK helped create and manage the backend system of our website. Using WordPress and Java, they developed it in a way that it could handle and facilitate pre-orders, orders, warehousing, delivery, and various payment methods. We had an initial template, but JHK customized the system to allow for the integration of several heavy APIs such as those for payments and shipping. 

What is the team composition?

I engaged with 6–7 people from their team, including their boss. I also spoke to 4–5 department heads, each of whom had several developers under them.

How did you come to work with JHK InfoTech PVT. LTD?

We were using freelancers prior to working with JHK and it did not provide a turnkey solution. They couldn’t do all of the things that we needed to get done, so we had to look for other providers. It was very messy in that sense. 

We searched on Google for upcoming IT companies that do web development until we eventually came across JHK. We reached out to them and found that they were very professional and methodical. They had the approach that we were looking for. They also understood our expectations and were very upfront about the budget. That gave us clarity about how much we were going to pay and what we were going to get at the end of the engagement, so we decided to hire them.

We spent about $21,000.

We worked with them from April–December 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

JHK was able to customize and integrate APIs that helped us deal with a lot of traffic and ensure the security of our customers who made purchases with their credit cards. The team also followed the international standards for those APIs, ensuring that there were no leakages or any other security issues. 

We expected to finish the project within a year, but JHK completed all developments within six months. Everything was done perfectly and for a price that was lower than we had expected. We were actually able to save money.

How did JHK InfoTech PVT. LTD perform from a project management standpoint?

It was very turnkey with JHK. They had a big enough team to provide a one-stop-shop solution. We gave them a small project, and they delivered on time and within budget.

We used Asana and Jira for tracking tasks and WhatsApp for day-to-day communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were really impressed with their clear, honest pricing. They were very much aware of the market and even compared their pricing structure to others out there. They gave us the best deal.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, it was a very good experience overall, and working with them made my life easier in a sense.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a clear list of your requirements from the very beginning. List your budget and end goals as well, and JHK will be sure to give you the clarity and confidence to pursue the project.

We have worked with many developers through the years as third part resources but none have had the ability to have such a broad range of skills to bring to our projects.

Jack has solved every issue on a wide spectrum of php, server administration and security issues for us. He is amazing in solving Wordpress, PHP, and Unix issues. His database knowledge in MYSQL is superb.

Jack has saved us time and money with his expertise.

We have directly communicated with Jack through skype and through trello. We have always been able to generally describe an issue and they always find a solution from very little information.

At one point we had a major website crash with our most lucrative client and we needed to get them back up and running in a very short amount of time. Jack received the issue and had them back up and running within 2 hours of a very difficult problem.

Be open 24 hours a day :)
