Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner and primary photographer of a photography and videography company that focusses on portraits and business brand imaging.

For what projects/services did your company hire JDR Web Solutions, and what were your goals?

I had a self-built website for a number of years that just felt horribly dated and wasn't reflecting the image of my own company. In working with JDR web, I hoped to build a new website that would not only showcase the work that I was doing, but do so with a modern and visually engaging look.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was connected to JDR through our BNI chapter and had built a good relationship with a number of their employees through that. It was really not a question that they would be the ones to work with.

After our initial meeting and gathering the assets and information needed for the site, the team at JDR made an initial mockup to review that was better than my expectations. from there they built out the rest of the site, including email contact forms and additional links. The entire process was really much easier than I was expecting.

A project manager, designer and developer were my main contacts on this.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

To be honest, my previous site generated ZERO leads. It was just not functional. The new site landed 4 new leads the first month it was live (which for my industry is excellent), and additionally I just have much more confidence in sending people to my site that it actually reflects who I am and what I do.

The entire team was great to communicate with. It was clear what they needed from me, and their responses were always timely. The reviews of the mock-ups and final site were exciting and really well done.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed with how quickly the team was able to produce a site that was far better than my expectations when I wasn't even sure what I wanted. I knew more about what I DIDN'T want, and they translated that into a site that I am beyond happy with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really. There was a strange technology glitch in how my contact form was working, but they got it sorted out and explained what was happening along the way.

JDR designed a site for our client who owns a home remodeling company as a part of a larger campaign we ran. We needed effective landing pages and language to complete the project, in addition to a site that composed a clear user journey in conjunction with the offers we were promoting. We also needed several landing page variations to test.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The most important outcomes were completed within 90 days, improving page speed and lowering bounce rate.
