We’re a mobile and web app development company, and I work as a project manager.

What challenge were you trying to address with IT Services India?

We hired IT Services India for their web development services. We needed to build our e-commerce platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

IT Services India is developing our e-commerce website using Shopify. They’ve helped us implement integrations to the website and other features we requested. Basically, all the parameters are decided by us, and they deliver whatever we need from them.

Our e-commerce platform has around a thousand products, and we are still working on the SKUs for that. Currently, the website is still not in the working stage, and we’re in talks with their team because we want the website to be totally good and in a workable condition.

We work with four developers from their team, including Patel (Senior Developer), our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with IT Services India?

We were looking for different developers online. We gave IT Services India a sample project, and they completed it satisfactorily. Hence, we decided to hire them for this specific project.

We’ve spent roughly $10,000–$15,000 on the project.

What is the status of the engagement?

We started working with them in May 2019, and our engagement is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re quite satisfied with the work they’ve done, but there are a few changes that they still have to make. To be exact, about 85%–90% of the work has been completed.

How did IT Services India perform from a project management standpoint?

We had a budget limit that we didn't want to exceed, and they’ve been good at keeping that in mind. They’ve missed a few deadlines, but most of the time they’re up to the mark. Whenever there’s a delay, they inform us ahead of time and explain the reasons for it.

They're also very approachable — their co-founder addresses any concerns we have. We conduct monthly meetings on Microsoft Teams.

They’re good at observing deadlines and our budget. Also, they’re able to solve any issues we have.

They can profit from having a team member from the management department. This will help them communicate their problems in a better way rather than having a technical person discuss everything.
