I am working as Foreign Exchange Specialist with a Financial Service Company. Our company is on a mission to make our clients financially independent with our signals, education, EA software and super broker services.

For what projects/services did your company hire Inventcolabs, and what were your goals?

We hired Inventcolabs for a mobile application project for creating a dashboard tool for our customers. This tool enables them to learn about financial projections, different investment schemes and giving them an opportunity to earn from trading through the mobile app on the go. They can also invest in real time and can manage their funds from Equity & Debt based trading. In addition to that a very complex algorithm was there in the background which calculates the risk mitigation factors for the user. In all it was a complete package for any user who wants to learn & earn from trading.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We contacted more than 40 providers over Clutch for the development of this platform. We evaluated each of them on the basis of their Skills, Understanding about the project and their past experience in similar domain and Previous clients feedback.

This process took almost a month and then Inventco were amongst top 3 providers. Then we invited them for a presentation about the idea and what value additions they can bring.

They started with the idea conception stage by presenting a Formal Scope of work after we started the contract. Then some designs & UI Ideas were presented for our feedback to select the theme of our application. Soon after it, they offered the wireframes of complete solution.

We were amazed to know that the started it right when we finalized the scope of work to speed up the process. We made our comments on designs and then they started design integration. We used Native technologies - Swift (Swift UI) & Kotlin and TradingView API. For hosting we used AWS.

The project manager was my initial point of contact. There were two developers (Native Mobile Apps), 1 Designer & a Creative Head. At testing side there was a QA who was part of the weekly standup meetings and a tester.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The speed of the application was slow initially as they were creating the entire framework and we raised a flag.

They mentioned that once the framework is done, they will optimize the application and we have noticed considerable speed optimized specially on the web services part. Since the project was a comprehensive project and honestly we couldn't have foreseen the complexity at day one.

It was very easy to communicate with them. They were available on Skype & Whatsapp. We used the best of the time zone differences. They used Trello so that we can show on which task which resource is working and if they have any questions they put it there and cleared in the daily standup meeting.

They went out of the way to bring life to the application. There suggestions and skills in executing the plan were simply great.

They could have told me the complete plan to make me more confident about them since the start. But once they take control, you enjoy your ride at back seat.
