I’m an officer for an e-commerce site.

We were looking for someone to help us develop a mobile application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided the core requirements to Insights Technologies, and they started with the mobile app development for iOS and Android. The app allows users to access our e-commerce platform and design and order products, like business cards, for instance.

They currently provide support for the app, such as fixing performance issues.

What is the team composition?

We work with 3–5 people; a project manager, designers, and engineers.

They were referred to us.

We've spent $250,000 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around June 2019, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We use Google Analytics to track growth, money coming in, etc., and we’ve seen positive results since launching the application.

How did Insights Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They completed everything within the set timeframe. We communicate via Teams and email and have daily standups for updates. We have built good communication with them — they manage challenges on time, and we have no complaints.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve produced quality work for us at competitive prices.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great to have an onshore team that works in a similar time zone for us.

They’re good at development and support — I recommend working with them.
