Needed a professional team to film video content for our social media channels. The goal was to capture a variety of dating scenes and intimate first date moments.

The team was very professional and responded with a proposal immediately, we were able to book a shoot day soon after.

I had a call with the content creation lead at Ideal insight and explained my requirement, I received a proposal from their side and upon agreement later we fixed a shoot day to film content. Before the actual shoot day they reverted back to me with casting options and provided a breakdown/schedule of what type of content we will be filming on the day of.

We shared our footage that we had, gave a brief of the style/vibe we wanted, and then they produced a draft which we went through a few rounds of changes on.

They delivered an impressive outcome very quickly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think it would have been easier talking directly with the creator of our showreel. George seemed to be the project manager / sales person, but once it came down to making changes, variations etc, it would have been easier if not everyone in the team was CC'd in on every email and it could have just been more direct contact with the person who was working on the reel. I never knew exactly who was working on each variation.

We specialise in baby goods - everything from bottles, cups and spoon to highchairs, sterilisers and food prep machines. We wanted to achieve premium videos that could be used both with and without infographics, and also that we could take stills from for graphics.

We looked for a video team on google and they had the best reviews!

We started with an introductory meeting to discuss our goals. From there, the Ideal Insight team went away and storyboarded our ideas in to videos for our approval - they hit the nail on the head first time around, so there wasn't much more development between then and the shoot!

We worked with the same team from start to finish, from trying to understand what it was we wanted initially, through to storyboard and ultimately shooting.

Our retailers love all the videos, and one of them was our most liked post on social media in 2021!

It was quite a small project, so not much was needed in terms of deadlines and timelines. They did stick to all deadlines given and were not once late with anything, even when we may have delayed the process a little.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Looking at their capabilities and previous projects, ours was by no means a hard one for them - a drop in the ocean. That said, at no point did we ever get the feeling that this was worth any less than a bigger project to them, or like they didn't want to take it on.

Absolutely none!
