I’m responsible for the implementation of 5K and 10K public runs that take place in Sifnos. I coordinate the event together with the municipality of that particular island in Greece.

We were trying to promote the public run to attract as many participants as possible. We also needed help with the registrations, so we hired iArk Digital Agency.

What was the scope of their involvement?

iArk Digital Agency created a website for the event. We gave them a general idea of how we wanted it to look and approved all implementations and published content. They also managed our Facebook Ads and followed up on the media exposure that we had.

They were recommended by one of our race ambassadors, a record holder in Greece marathons who was also assisting us with all the projects. She had worked with iArk Digital Agency on similar projects and was very happy with their service, so she suggested I work with them. I looked into their website, saw their previous works, and decided to hire them.

We paid a flat fee of around €2,500 (approximately $3,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked seasonally with them from December 2016–May 2019. The run usually took place in April, so we do four months of work before then but now, with the pandemic, we cannot hold the event.

iArk Digital Agency’s excellent response time was important to me, because things were happening very quickly the closer we got to the race. They would work with us even on the weekends leading up to the event.

We had more than 2,000 products in the shop two weeks later, and we decided to also create a B2B version. We’re also building a member club, which will give customers access to discounts and free shipping.

This was our first time creating an e-shop, and iArk was very helpful in explaining what we should do. They proposed multiple ways of accomplishing what we wanted.

We were working during the lockdown and wanted to have something very soon. iArk managed to build the whole shop in less than one month. Sales will be our main metric for measuring the impact of the member club.

They’re helpful, and they’ve done everything we wanted. I have no complaints. We’ve communicated over email, and I’ve also visited them at their office.

I can contact them at any time. We’ve had problems with the shop at 11 o’clock at night, and I was able to contact them and get things fixed.

I’d like to hear more proposals from them on what we could do. They’ve delivered everything I asked for, but they’re the professionals, so I’d like to hear ideas from them.

Clients will be absolutely pleased with iArk. Tell them what you want from the beginning. We had some extra costs because we didn’t know exactly what we wanted at first.

A committed group of web designers and UX experts from iArk worked in unison with our current processes.  They completed a thorough revamp of our student site, including user-friendly routes for faculty communication, assignment submission, and course navigation.  While adhering to ADA compliance rules, the team created culturally relevant design templates that appealed to Spanish-speaking pupils.  In order to provide accessibility for students in areas with differing degrees of internet connectivity, they also put in place a responsive design system that functioned across devices.  Interactive course catalogs, virtual campus tours, and an expedited admissions application procedure were among the other achievements.

We were able to develop a more useful and interesting online learning environment with the assistance of the augmented team.  While teachers valued the enhanced communication and content delivery technologies, students reported feeling more at ease navigating their courses and accessing resources.  Our student body gave special recognition to the culturally aware design features, saying that the interface design made them feel seen and understood.
