The measurable outcomes of the project demonstrate significant underperformance against the agreed scope, timeline, and delivery expectations. Severe Timeline Overrun: The project was initially estimated to be completed within approximately 3.5–4.5 months, yet after 18 months, only a partially functional version of the application was delivered. Substantial Scope Shortfall: Even after 2 years of engagement, only approximately 60% of the originally agreed scope of work had been completed. A significant portion of core features and integrations outlined in the proposal remained either incomplete, missing, or not functioning as intended. Delayed Partial Usability: The application only reached a minimally usable state after 18 months, and this was achieved despite major gaps in functionality and required features. Lack of Proportional Progress Over Time: The rate of delivery did not align with the extended timeline. The additional time (over 6x the original estimate) did not result in full completion, indicating inefficiencies in execution and project management. Client-side Mitigation Efforts: The team was required to adapt operations, implement workarounds, and compensate for missing functionality in order to make the product usable, further highlighting the gap between expected and actual deliverables.

However, this communication did not translate into effective execution or delivery. Failure to Deliver on Time: Despite consistent check-ins, project milestones were repeatedly missed. Deliverables were not completed within the agreed timelines, and there was no alignment between communicated progress and actual development output. Lack of Tangible Progress: While updates often indicated that features were “in progress” or “nearing completion,” the corresponding work was frequently not delivered or remained incomplete. This created a pattern where expectations were managed verbally but not fulfilled in practice. Reactive Rather Than Proactive Management: The project lacked clear accountability, structured milestone tracking, and proactive escalation of delays. Issues were not transparently addressed early, contributing to prolonged timelines and compounding delays. Mismatch Between Communication and Execution: Although the team was responsive in meetings, the actual development progress did not reflect the level of communication, resulting in extended periods with minimal or no meaningful deliverables.

We hired Hyperlink Infosystem to build a therapy marketplace platform from scratch. The agreed scope included: therapist registration and profile management with credential verification, client onboarding and matching flow, session booking system, payment processing, and integrated video call functionality. The agreed delivery timeline was approximately 3 months.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There were no measurable outcomes. After 14 months and USD $28,884 paid, the platform could not complete a single end-to-end user flow. A recorded live review session on March 10, 2026 — conducted with Hyperlink's own engineering team present — confirmed that core functions including therapist registration, client booking, payment processing, and video session were non-operational. The project never reached launch.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Project management was consistently poor throughout the 14-month engagement. Key failures included:

Missed deadlines: The original contract committed to delivery in approximately 3 months (January 2025) and 14 months after, no functional delivery was made. 

Staff changes without notice: The project changed hands in order the company to gain more time, but nothing was solved. It kept dragging the project further and further. 

No quality assurance: Despite QA being contractually required, the platform was never tested end-to-end before delivery. Never during the 14+ months of the project, the software was delivered on a minimum functional way.

Failed live demo: On March 10, 2026, after 14+ months of long complaints and back and forth communication, a recorded live review session was conducted with Hyperlink's own engineers present. The platform failed at the very first step — therapist registration. After more than one hour, we could not complete a single end-to-end flow. Video calls, payments, and invoicing were never reached. The issues were acknowledged verbally by Hyperlink's engineers during the session. The recording is in my possession.

When escalated, the matter was passed to their legal department, which refused any refund citing a no-refund clause — while ignoring express written warranties in their own proposal guaranteeing on-time delivery and spec-conforming work.

Their sales process was responsive and professional, which is what led us to select them. Unfortunately, this did not reflect the quality of project execution that followed.

They did not deliver what was promised within the agreed-upon timeline. Honor the express written warranties in your own proposal — on-time delivery and spec-conforming work. Test the platform end-to-end before claiming delivery. Maintain consistent project ownership instead of cycling through multiple contacts with no handover. And when a client raises a legitimate delivery failure backed by a recorded demo, address it directly rather than routing it to a legal team to hide behind contract clauses.

The team also created an admin panel according to the provided specifications. I then had to scale up the requirements, and we started working on the same process. Hyperlink InfoSystem used Python to develop the app's frontend for Android and created an admin panel in the backend.

In the app, students enrolled and purchased activities and courses, and then they started working on related articles and practical aspects with the automated generation of certificates and reports. Hyperlink InfoSystem's project was successful. The impact of the Android development project conducted by Hyperlink InfoSystem was necessary, and their implementation model was highly appreciated. We had priorities on the software part because otherwise, the team's work reach would've been monotonous, and the technical work wouldn't been appreciated. 

Hyperlink InfoSystem implemented features according to requirements and corrected a couple of impediments we encountered during development after I highlighted the issues. The team delivered all the app edits I requested, and we were satisfied with the project's results.

Hyperlink InfoSystem's delivery time was acceptable because there was a delay on my end in sending the requirement document. Considering the project was developed from scratch, the timeline was reasonable, and I understood that development projects take time. We extended the project timeline as per my requirements. We mostly communicated with the team via Skype and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by Hyperlink InfoSystem's economic rates compared to other development companies. Additionally, the team delivered a user-friendly app. Other developers we've worked with were adamant about accepting changes or modifications. However, Hyperlink InfoSystem took it as a challenge and implemented the changes I requested. Overall, the team was agile and economical.

I'd suggest Hyperlink InfoSystem to integrate an AI segment or team to work with other technologies. I think it would be helpful for their business.

We've started the process by discussing the project with them, including our desire for Android and iOS platforms to cover most of the market. The team is also providing me with the app's UI/UX design, development, and deployment.

Before starting the project, I had prepared a manual of what I needed this platform to do, so they used that information to build the platform.

As mentioned, this is a management system for our printing services. Everything starts when we receive artwork from our customers, who upload it to our platform. After that, we input the printing order details into our system so that we can keep a record of every order. This system is cloud-based.

They develop a full marketplace, with two mobile applications, one for vendors, and one for consumers on both platforms. Android and iOS. And the same for the website. They also developed the UI design.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was developed from the beginning to the end. Currently, it runs and we have already many users who use it and order food from our platform. Great success! We never had any problem on production. The applications runs very smoothly and we have 5 stars in iOS and Android.

We used a ticket tool called Zoho, to create tickets for every feature of our app. They always delivered on time. They always responded to me on the same day through chat applications.

They really allow you with a small budget to create ready-for-production applications for thousands of users. They are very professional and always happy to help you. I felt that we were a team with them. You feel that they really want your idea to succeed and they try hard for it.

No, they were very professional in every detail! I wish I had the chance to meet the team at some point in person to thank them for the great product.
