Our complete website was created by Hookux from the ground up. They have done everything from connecting marketplaces to SEO and web design. The Shopify portal is where they have worked the most.

To sell on many markets, we employ a pre-built system. Our data and inventory are stored in software. We first gave Hookux all of the product data, and they used that information to create a website.

Hookux is really easy to get in touch with. Since they are situated in India and we are in Texas, email allows us to communicate quickly. We jump on a Zoom call if necessary. There were no notable delays at all, and we also use a Trello board to post questions that require more research.

After completing an initial product brief with our expert users, their team worked on iterative design for about four weeks, meeting with the same users a few times a week for catch-ups. In addition to providing input during meetings, a SaaS platform was used to share progress and allow us to offer comments.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Extremely happy with the design result as well as the communication with their team over the process. The designers were passionate and, more importantly, able to comprehend a challenging issue that was well outside of their normal purview. They took on the task and made it their own, pushing the design beyond our recommended parameters. Instead of depending on us to inform them exactly what was required, they truly contributed their knowledge to our understanding.

The client in the project I worked on put a lot of pressure on us to build the website within a month. The prior vendor, which was more of a website design firm than a product design firm, was replaced by us. We were given the responsibility of flawlessly implementing a very sophisticated design because the prior site was really basic.

In just one week, Hookux created a wonderfully dynamic homepage. On the website, we changed fifteen pages. It had features like micro-animations, was consistent with the client's brand, and operated flawlessly on both desktop and mobile devices. Additionally, it was integrated with a careers provider and HubSpot.

The ability of Hookux to truly follow the designs is important, particularly for the more dynamic ones. They have delivered on the difficult designs we have given them.

The reaction from customers is overwhelmingly positive. Users are generally having a much better experience, and engagement and conversion rates are significantly higher.

They are well organized. We adhere to weekly sprints and use Jira, Google Sheets, and Slack. Both before and after the construction begins, they provide us with daily updates. They have never been late and provide precise estimates.

We needed to conceal a vendor component number from several locations on the website for a very big collection of products.  I didn't think it would be feasible without issues with other things we listed that had nothing to do with this assignment.  Hookux was able to complete the task at hand with speed and efficiency.
