The crew was really helpful in explaining everything to me because I am not computer savvy. They also informed me that the build will take 10 to 12 weeks.

After over two weeks of operation, the website has received an incredible amount of praise. Everyone has commented on how well it functions and looks, and I am looking forward to continuing to collaborate with the team.

The project manager was fantastic; he kept me updated at all times and was always there to assist me, no matter how small the task. I asked him probably really foolish questions, but he always answered them quickly and helped.

Hexagon IT Solution assisted with ideas and worked on the project from start to finish. When I came to them, I had completed most of the brainstorming, but they were helpful in answering some of my queries about integration possibilities and the viability of particular concepts. Then, which was fantastic, they worked on all the coding. Subsequently, they developed the website by incorporating admin pages and Stripe, and they guided me through each step.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Hexagon IT solution took my first concept and went with it. Their technical contributions were excellent; they gave the site's forward-facing section a polished appearance. Their work is excellent throughout. They provide work that is worthy of a blue ribbon award and is completed quickly, and they are really skilled at what they do.

Communication between us was great. They were incredibly responsive throughout the process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The guides they created really pleased me. They created a comprehensive PDF with graphics for my login page that covered even the smallest elements to make it easier for me to use. Their patience and ability to walk me through the product's operation have made them some of the greatest developers out there.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Hexagon IT Solutions could have done differently?

I was the one who caused the project to take longer than anticipated. Their ability to complete tasks was hampered by my frequent travels, which left me unavailable for weeks at a time.

I'm the IT director for a company that provides employee assistance programs (EAPs).

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Hexagon IT Solutions?

We engaged Hexagon to rebuild our custom software portal.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hexagon rebuilt our EAP portal from scratch, using a Linux server, MySQL, and PHP. Following a discovery phase, they managed the next phases of design and development, providing the UI/UX design and wireframes in the process.

What is the team composition?

We worked with project managers, but also had access to programmers and QA staff assigned to the project as needed. They're able to scale up or reduce the number of people working on the project, depending on the phase of development.

How did you come to work with Hexagon IT Solutions?

Our sister company recommended them to us.

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested $60,000–$80,000, but that includes managing our preexisting platform as well as supporting the development of a new one.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with them since March 2017, completing the bulk of the work in May 2018. We're still collaborating with them on some additional modules.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Although we don't have any metrics to share yet, their work has had a significantly positive impact already. To say that Hexagon has improved our integration would be an understatement. We've been able to integrate four APIs into our portal, streamlining many of our processes that were either previously nonexistent or cumbersome.

How did Hexagon IT Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They've been very clear and organized about the scope of work and kept all lines of communication open throughout the engagement. They're very responsive and accessible whenever we have any questions or need to reach them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness and dedication to their work sets them apart. We were able to do more than we had planned thanks to their additional feedback and innovative approach. They take a lot of ownership in every project they work on.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although communication is great overall, I think it'd be helpful to have more collaborative meetings with the entire team.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be prepared with as much information as possible going into the project, so there's less to figure out or hold up the project later on.
