I’m the corporate wellness manager at MindTales. We’re a digital well-being platform that supports the emotional and mental well-being of employees in the workplace.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with HelloGTM?

We wanted to create a strategy to improve our lead generation and increase revenue. We also wanted to understand our blueprints and get the right strategy to see what clicks when approaching the market with our story and brand.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

HelloGTM created a go-to-market strategy to improve our lead generation. The main aim was to create a sales process, increase calls, and connect us with the people who’d find us interesting enough to get a call. We wanted to define the ideal customer profile and experiment with narrative, positioning, geography, company size, target profiles, and more. 

They did everything from their end using platforms like LinkedIn and other social media. HelloGTM also helped optimized the website and CRM setup, as well as integrate HubSpot and services such as adding meetings and new clients.

For example, we wanted to go to Saudi Arabia for an event. Although it wasn’t within their scope, HelloGTM still reached out and offered to contact clients who could be potential investors in our brand that we could meet at the event.

We were in contact with the co-founder and his direct assistant.

The founders onboarded them.

We spent $10,000–$25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from June 2022–February 2023.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We measured our success by the number of meetings logged, meetings that showed interest, and leads we converted into clients.

How did HelloGTM perform from a project management standpoint?

They stayed within budget. The team didn’t always stay within deadlines, but it had to do with the nature of our business. Getting in touch with people was sometimes difficult; some booked meetings ended with no-shows or leads that didn’t convert into deals.

We had weekly meetings to catch up, make changes, and assess what went well and what could be improved in the future. We communicated via email and virtual meetings. We also used Google Sheets.

What did you find most impressive about them?

HelloGTM was very hands-on. Even if we had a new challenge, they still found ways to accommodate and help us. Overall, they were open to feedback and easy to talk to.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would’ve been nice to have a mutual CRM to communicate the leads on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

First, dissect their business plan and pinpoint exactly what you need. Draw a map and understand the objectives to outline a clear, transparent plan to execute. Moreover, you should have clear communication.
