We wanted to develop a mobile app that would be user friendly and at a high quality.

We searched online for top developers and after shortlisting a few. We decided to go with GuruTechnolabs owing to their high-quality work and dedication to their past clients and projects.

We had a series of calls to discuss the main idea of the project and what we needed within the framework of the app. After transferring a few wire frames and making the adjustments necessary to retain the budget. We brainstormed the layout of the app and the necessary features that would still be within budget. We then ran it through beta testing and made a few last minute adjustments before launching on the google play store and IOS AppStore.

A project manager Ayush was ascribed to our project through Ravi, an exceptionally dedicated project co-ordinator. They both were highly committed to quality and our satisfaction making it a pleasure to work with them.

The app looks exceptional and we are excited to have the launch in the coming days.

Their project management is at a personal level, and they are constantly on top of the work and changes. There were constant updates and brainstorming done through GuruTechnolabs how to best achieve the goals of the app at the highest quality leaving us with security and confidence in their team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their friendly communication and care in the execution of the project. They were patient and walked us through the steps. They were highly dedicated to developing the app and achieving the goals of the project throughout challenges that came up in the code and design of the app.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Status reports at each step of the project so we could have eliminated misunderstandings. Going into more detail in the proposal over how they would achieve the certain requirements and if there would be additional costs involved.

I searched hi and low for developers that made the experience fun. At this point I would consider guru tech, not just members of my business but family as well.

I worked in total with about 3 people who all were very easy to communicate with.

We are still in the early stages of the finished product but I am sure gueu has what it takes to get us to the tippy top of the dating app community when it is all said and done.

Guru is timely with all they do, besides the fact that they are in a different timezone they are always willing to accommodate to your schedule and are known to work over time based on the scope of the project

I find their humbleness and love for what they do refreshing. They have become more like family and less like a company I deal with every week.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Guru is an absolute joy to work with, any issues with the project are always easily expressed and managed together.

The deliverables were delivered in a timely manner and I was pleased with the pace of development. Guru would pursue me to keep the project on track so I was very impressed with their speed and responsiveness

The project management style was relaxed and technology and site options were explained clearly allowing sufficient time to meet company requirements

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Guru are a well resourced and a well experienced organisation. It was obvious that my site was not their first rodeoTheir style is relaxed human, understanding and Ravi was an absolute pleasure to work with so much so that I've already informed them I will use them for phase two and three aspects of the project.

What was most impressive was how they went above and beyond by liasing directly with my ISP and DNS provider to resolve site DNS issues preventing the launch...The Guys really worked overtime on that which was within it's understanding but not necessarily it's responsibility..

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wouldn't ask them to change a thing

The goals for the project is to build a social community for friendships, spiritual relationships and marriage.

We found them on Google search. After finding them, we verified their presence on the internet. We realized all the platforms were recommending Guru Technolabs and this made our decision easy and confident. They had outstanding reviews.

I came up with the idea that I want to help the people of the community to connect with each other. I contacted Guru Technolabs and they helped convert the idea into reality. They approached us with an application, and presented their business and monetization model. The project included an android app, ios app, and backend.

What was the team composition?

There are many employees, however, we were mainly in contact with Ravi. He managed the team and project. He is very cooperative, suggestive, and a transparent person who made sure the app is a success.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As soon as the app launched, it was a success and still continued to be.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very effective and seamless. Even though there was a time difference, we were able to manage everything successfully.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We found that the company had very good reviews. They were attentive in understanding the concept and helpful in making sure that the idea came into reality.

The only recommendation we have to have more individuals review and test the app.

We’re a cannabis delivery based out of San Diego. I’m the CEO, and we started the business in 2014. We’re about to take over the California division soon.

Guru Technolabs built a website to bring traffic to my business. Eventually, we will add on a shopping component so that people can shop online too.

I worked with Ravi (Founder & CEO) on building the actual website. I communicated with another contact a few times on the phone.

I went through a couple of people before Guru Technolabs. Nobody could see my vision. My partner actually hired Ravi before to build a website. He recommended them to me, saying that he would be a good fit.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $2,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in early September 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The site isn’t officially done, so I have plans to add a lot more to it. But their team created a simple site that’s easy for customers to use. We’re about to launch within the next week.

Compared to other agencies, Guru Technolabs came through better than any other company. Ravi did a really good job.

How did Guru Technolabs perform from a project management standpoint?

From a project management standpoint, they were excellent. The team was always on top of things. We worked within different time zones, but their side always responded to us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team delivers a professional service.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t answer that question because I’m still working with them. Right now, everything’s been good.

There will be different time schedules, but Ravi is awesome and will do all of the work. I haven’t had an issue yet.

Just finished. Too early to tell. I hope that it will bring lots of clients. It looks very professional now!

I worked directly with the project manager only. He was very nice and easy to work with. He was friendly and patient with me because I am not techie at all!

I am Cleon T Day, III, CEO of Grand Prize Singles Experience, LLC, a mixed-use facility and event venue for filmmakers and the LGBT community-based in Atlanta Georgia. Given our event facility, where people will attend various spaces such a restaurant, coffee shop, 2 pool & decks, auditorium, ballrooms, auditorium we wanted to create an app for dating for those who want an easier way to date and one day use our unique space.

We hired Guru Technolabs to develop a dating app to resolve the main challenge of dating in today's dating climate, fear of being rejected. In designing the dating app, there needed to be a discreet way of approaching someone without them being embarrassed.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to create a user-friendly dating app to signal to someone you are interested in meeting them while you're out in public or a social gathering without everyone knowing.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I have been a fan of Freelancer.com and used their services a lot for a number of projects. In posting the project, developing a dating app, one of the graphic designers made a bid for the job, Ravi Makhija won out among the bids.

Describe the project in detail.

As I pointed out before, the description was straight forward, create a "very simple dating app, name, email address and contact number (no photo, profile, no bio file or no chatline)" Members of the app had three ways to connect to each other, by cell phone, email or in-person to set up a date. Within the design, those connections needed to be met on an Android.

What was the team composition?

I came up with the concept and design, a team was not needed.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Through submitting drawings and descriptions on how the app should work, the app, Approachable was created. We ran a number of tests between, Ravi, myself and a friend of mine, the product was developed as envisioned. The goal was met.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project involved a lot of communication back and forth between Ravi and me with the design and functions of the app. After designing the flow of the various functions, we had to work out the bugs. We communicated via email, text messaging and phone call.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Guru Technolabs was very professional every step of the way. There were a number of challenges in getting the app to work in the way it was designed. However, the company was very patient and attentive in working out the kinks. One of the things I most admire about companies whose services I have employed is its professionalism, Guru Technolabs is a company that practices this philosophy,

I’m one of the partners of a virtual startup that’s a resource for tutors and students. We’re a three-person company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Guru Technolabs?

We hired Guru Technolabs to develop our entire system. We identified a gap in the market that there were no platforms enabling students to find a tutor with granular search criteria, and allowing tutors to manage their entire business digitally.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We performed analysis while Guru Technolabs did all of the system design and development using PHP. 

The platform allows students to search for a tutor with very specific criteria like maximum travel distance, price, and the school/university attended by the tutor. Students can view potential tutors' details, reviews and ratings, and select their tutor. 

They can then book directly in the tutor's TutorSmart calendar. There are reminders and notifications and parental involvement for minors. The tutor gets paid automatically on completion of the lesson.

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact is Ravi (Founder & CEO, Guru Technolabs). All of the development went through him. We didn’t see what was going on behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with Guru Technolabs?

We searched online for developers. After we put a few on a shortlist, we had a Skype conversation with Ravi. We were impressed and decided to go with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $6,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with Guru Technolabs started in 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The system is completed, but we are adding a few extra features. We plan on launching within the current school year. The quality of work is outstanding. I have a background in IT, so I was able to understand how everything was put together. All feedback has been extremely positive. 

The system is easy to use and is rich in features. There's nothing out there that comes close to TutorSmart's functionality. Ravi and his team have done a great job.

How did Guru Technolabs perform from a project management standpoint?

We worked closely with Ravi. It’s difficult at times to work across different countries and cultures. Taking that into account, Ravi was fabulous. We communicated using email, WhatsApp, and phone calls and developed a good understanding.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team at Guru Technolabs is prepared to go the extra mile. They’re happy to please. If there’s something small or large that needs to be done, they’ll do it. If there’s a better way to do something, they’ll suggest it. They have a vested interest in the product.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, our challenge is distance and culture. But a few months into the project, we had a good understanding of how each other works. It’s been a great relationship with Guru Technolabs.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d highly recommend them. They document everything. Clients sign off on everything they’re going to do, so there’s never any discrepancy.
