WP Whales was tasked with pushing WordPress to its limits with our project and they exceeded expectations. We are a group of founders with no tech experience, so WP Whales acted as our saviors.

To summarize, our project was to create a multi-vendor social platform to give Instructors (national, world, and Olympic level athletes) an opportunity to monetize video-based courses and give customers the opportunity to correspond with their favorite athletes.

The platform required heavy customization from a video upload + streaming perspective, theme customization + multiple custom plugins to ensure the platform functioned properly. WP Whales also solved API integrations to solve multi-vendor payout issues using Dokan, WooCommerce, and Stripe. 

Once we found product market fit, we had the Whales focus on optimizing UI/UX for both users and Instructors. 

Wherever a problem arose, WP Whales identified it and fixed it efficiently.

WP Whales always provided an estimated timeline for each sprint or milestone of our project(s). They almost always hit their timelines and sometimes finished ahead of schedule. If they needed to adjust estimates, they would let us know as soon as practicable. 

If we had an emergency, they would address the issue as soon as they could and would be willing to work at less-than-ideal times if the issue was mission-critical. They care about the success of your project and take pride in their work.

It was stress-free for us, as we knew WP Whales would deliver on time and on specification.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found their ability to interpret our vision (as non-tech founders) and make it a reality. I'm certain we were difficult to work with, but they were able to find a way to exceed our expectations. 

I also want to highlight the ease and efficiency of communication. WP Whales will respond quickly and solve problems. We've worked with other vendors in the past that were poor communicators and I can't understate how important this is to me!

Are there any areas for improvement or something WP Whales could have done differently?

In all honesty, no. WP Whales were tasked with building something very complicated and we gave them objectively poor and disorganized instructions and they were still able to do a wonderful job. I never would have expected the project to turn out as well as it did and we never could have done it without WP Whales!
