I am a Board member to a promising medical device start-up.

For what projects/services did your company hire Greenify Vietnam Limited Company, and what were your goals?

We hired Greenify to develop our entire mobile app and back-end services.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Deep knowledge of mobile app development, and especially the user a a modern stack, in our case Flutter and Mongo.

We provided Greenify with a comprehensive UX specification designed in Figma. Greenify first architected the entire technology stack which was inline with our thinking. The specific technologies used were Flutter and Mongo DB running on the Google Cloud Platform. Other supporting technologies like Docker were used as well.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were four resources, including the Founder, a Senior Mobile Developer, and Junior Mobile Developer and a Project Manager. The Founder is a full stack developer and handled the back-end as well as overseeing the app development.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Development was done on time and with excellent performance. I cannot speak to in-market performance as the product has not been released. But as far it the product working as specified, it works perfectly.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Project management was based on weekly sprints and updates. Communication was constant, over Zoom and Skype. Tools included comments in the Figma file, online spreadsheets, and written reports.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of their work was impressive.  And the fact that the Founder was 100% hands on in not only overseeing the work but as the lead engineer.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

QA was not fully built out at the beginning of the project, but Greenify has now built out those resources in-house. This is not to say that they did not perform QA work, they did. But previously they did not have a dedicated QA department.
