Their services have helped our business improve visibility—our brand is now more established and clear. We’ve received great feedback from users on the rebuilt platform. Our site now shows up in the first two search results thanks to GoldenComm’s marketing efforts.

All information is shared through email, but we can follow up with a phone call whenever necessary. They’re easy to communicate with and are attentive to our needs. They respond quickly whenever we need them to make changes or support us.

I’m a marketing director for a logistics company. We help companies reduce their transportation costs while improving their services. My responsibilities involve increasing lead generation for our sales team.

What was the scope of their involvement?

GoldenComm developed two websites us and created new marketing collateral. One site features our transportation management product, while the other hosts a brokerage system. Both sites are integrated with the primary company website. They used WordPress to build out each platform.

They developed each site to include clickable phone numbers that function on mobile devices. That feature allows us to see when customers call, who they talk too, and what we can we do to make a conversion. So not only are we generating leads, but we can track what happens to them.

Another important aspect of our relationship with GoldenComm is their efforts improve our digital marketing reach. Their team ensures that our marketing collateral drives people to our sites. They also oversee our Google Ads campaigns and design marketing banners for new products. By developing content that applies to the entire brand, we can integrate each deliverable with any section of the company’s overall platform.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to GoldenComm, we have a much better method of tracking qualified leads than we used too. They’ve made it a lot easier to trace the path of how customers find out about our brand, what makes them interested in our services, and how they contact our representatives. We appreciate having those tools integrated with our day-to-day operations.

Strategically speaking, they’ve don’t a great job. They guide us through the ideation process and recommend viable solutions. Their team listens to our needs and works hard to deliver what we want. Our expectations are always met.

How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?

They manage me more than I manage them. We have a lot of things going on simultaneously, so it’s nice to have a partner that can take on significant responsibility. We have regular meetings with them to discuss current initiatives and goals for the future. Those meetings are usually done over the phone. More immediate issues are communicated through email. If I need them to update the site suddenly, they’ll respond within an hour.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re responsive, productive, and thorough. I trust their abilities enough not to double-check what they deliver. I know they’ll accomplish each task I give them. The whole team works to do the best job they can.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’d love to see them innovate their deliverables from a design perspective. I’m satisfied with what they deliver, but I’d like to see them go beyond our expectations.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They have plenty to offer, so future clients of theirs should start each project with a detailed plan in place. The more clients are prepared, the better work they can do.

I’m the project manager for EtherWAN, a company that manufactures and sells networks switches and electronic devices for industrial use.

What challenge were you trying to address with GoldenComm?

We needed someone to implement an e-commerce solution using the Magenta platform. We were setting up a website to sell EtherWAN products and integrate with our Sage ERP system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an existing pilot site that GoldenComm evaluated and used as the basis for their recommendations. The site had lots of code and wireframes, so GoldenComm moved it over to the Magento system. They also added a few features and updated some components to make the site function better, such as integrating a new payment system.

We interacted with a sales member, architect, and project manager.

We asked Adobe to recommend partners to implement our product, and they gave us three companies. GoldenComm was located near our Anaheim office, and they immediately understood our business and what we wanted to accomplish. They were also honest and forthright about what they could and couldn’t do, so we hired them. Plus, the value for the services they offered was the most economical.

We worked together from October 2018–January 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s too early to have quantitative results, but they met expectations and everything is working well. If there were any bugs, GoldenComm fixed them right away. We haven’t had any crashes with the final product.

How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?

The team was geographically diverse, but they managed the distance and time differences well. We mainly communicated via phone and email, but I would’ve appreciated more documentation.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were highly organized and well-connected for a virtual team. The architect was knowledgeable and always researched questions whenever he wasn’t sure about the answer.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had some timing issues, but it was never a big deal. Clearer documentation would’ve solved that.

Our project manager makes the sure that the project runs smoothly. She funnels all my questions to her team and keeps me on task for any content and details that I need to provide. Her communication has been highly effective since the beginning.

GoldenComm acts like a partner; they explain technical jargon in layperson terms and respond quickly to questions. The team also never hesitates to offer suggestions to improve on our ideas and processes. This is a refreshing change from my experience with previous vendors.

We hired them to help us with rebranding. We wanted to rethink the articulation of our value proposition and our brand footprint. Our goal was to find help for that process and then to build a new website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They started out by walking us through rebranding our product by discussing with us how it worked, who it served, and what it was intended to do. After that, they performed a full redesign of our website in WordPress. They used the various components of our value proposition to deliver a fresh, contemporary design that reflected our new brand. We used a separate contractor for the redesign and GoldenComm did a good job of coordinating with them to understand how to reflect those aesthetics for the web design. Once the project was complete, they handled some follow-ups in terms of quality control and training our staff on how to update the site.

We worked with a project manager and had several developers assigned to our project.

My direct supervisor had met one of the leaders at GoldenComm during a conference several years ago. What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They did a good job of coordinating the project and interfacing with our other contractors. In terms of metrics for our new site, the traffic has been very consistent since we launched. We don’t know the year-over-year results yet, but we’ve had a good response from current and prospective customers in terms of how they view the brand. GoldenComm’s work has definitely elevated their perception of our company.

How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?

They leveraged Google’s suite of tools well in order to keep everything organized and to communicate with us. We touched base weekly to discuss progress but they also provide ongoing updates throughout the business day. They were also readily available after hours. I felt like they had a good handle on the process and on ensuring that they’d meet our needs. We had some aggressive deadlines and they stepped up to complete everything.

What did you find most impressive about them?

There’s a wide variety of contracting options in their field and some are not strong candidates for the job. GoldenComm stood out as highly professional, collaborative, and well-organized. They made an effort to stay on the cutting edge of their industry and share those insights with customers like us so we could benefit. They also made a great effort to learn how our business worked as part of a niche industry

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing comes to mind. They fulfilled their mandate with us. We’d just ask them to continue to challenge us and themselves in terms of understanding our business, which they did well.

This is more general advice, but ensure that you have a good understanding of what is and isn’t included in their service. Have a thorough conversation up front and be candid about your needs or any preferences you have regarding the project.
