GoldenComm has revamped an engineering company’s website. The team has used the client’s existing brand guidelines to redevelop the website using WordPress. They’ve also implemented Google Ads campaigns.
GoldenComm’s website development and SEO efforts have garnered visibility from qualified leads. Although it’s too early to measure conversions, the client has been pleased with the results. The team uses LeadLender for analytics and Google Meet to communicate.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of an engineering and system integration company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with GoldenComm?
We wanted to upgrade our website to make it more modern and user-friendly. We were also looking to increase our web presence through Google Ads campaigns.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
GoldenComm has redeveloped our website based on our brand identity guidelines. First, they evaluated our needs and decided WordPress would be the best platform for us. They also designed key elements of our website with SEO in mind.
Additionally, they've orchestrated Google Ads campaigns and provided hosting services for the website.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with about six people, including Megan (Online Marketing Analyst). The team structure changes according to our needs.
How did you come to work with GoldenComm?
I’m part of a business advisory group, and the owner of GoldenComm spoke at an event a few years ago. When we were ready to update our website, we called them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent roughly $70,000, including hosting, development, and Google Ads campaigns.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in April 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We evaluate lead generation and monitor the website for conversions. Due to the nature of our business, we have a long sales cycle ranging from six months to a year. As a result, we’re still a few months away from being able to measure their success.
The team uses LeadLander to monitor our website traffic, user demographics, and how users find us. We’ve been pleased with the results; we’re getting the right type of visibility from our organic SEO and Google Ads efforts.
How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve managed the project exceptionally well, and we’ve had great continuity between project leads. The whole process has gone smoothly. The team uses great tools to gather technical content and build deployment checklists. We have weekly meetings via Google Meet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve been most impressed with their design team. Their designers are talented and efficient, and they execute a seamless, painless process. I’ve also been impressed with their strong Google Ads expertise and clear analytics.
Megan highlights eye-opening data regarding cost-per-click, click volume, and derivatives of search words. She’s taken the breadcrumbs of search words we’ve laid out and expanded upon them based on search history, volume, and competition. Her keyword research efforts have helped us filter out unqualified leads.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It’s not a criticism, but they don’t include copywriting in their base package, so we’ve had to handle it ourselves.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They charge monthly versus per project, but I’ve been thoroughly pleased with the partnership. If you have reservations about the monthly model, I’d encourage you to move forward with GoldenComm regardless. The monthly payment model helps them focus on the business relationship, making them feel like part of your internal team.

I am the assistant to the president at Quick-Dry, a 24/7 emergency flood service.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with GoldenComm?
GoldenComm was hired to be our marketing partner.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
GoldenComm runs our marketing, website upkeep, and Google Ad campaigns. We haven’t provided them with any general information because GoldenComm already understands our industry. Their team has completely revamped our website to optimize traffic and increase visibility. GoldenComm has also updated our keyword searches to improve our lead generation from Google and Bing advertisements.
What is the team composition?
We work with 3–4 teammates from GoldenComm, and my main point of contact is the online marketing analyst.
How did you come to work with GoldenComm?
We’ve been working with GoldenComm for over five years, but I can’t exactly remember how we first found them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend more than $80,000 a year with GoldenComm.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our partnership with GoldenComm began in January 2017, and it’s ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
GoldenComm’s ideas have been very successful; in Q4 2021, about $49,000 in billable revenue can be attributed to the work GoldenComm has done.
How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?
GoldenComm has fantastic project management. Generally, we communicate with their team through phone calls and emails. We have monthly performance calls and then schedule other strategy meetings on an as-needed basis.
What did you find most impressive about them?
GoldenComm is more responsive to us than their competitors and includes their developers in our strategy calls to optimize our projects.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have anything for GoldenComm to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Customers need to go over all the data and reports GoldenComm provides at least a day in advance to prepare for every monthly call with GoldenComm.

Providing pro bono service, GoldenComm developed a WordPress website in a way that enabled the in-house staff to update to the content as necessary. The team also trained the staff on how to make those changes.
Thanks to their understanding of the business and its goals, GoldenComm delivered a visually appealing, user-friendly, and skimmable website that attracted about 300 more monthly visitors. The team had a standout project management process, and they executed the vision exactly as requested.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a director of creative projects for Barco Uniforms, and Barco's Nightingales Foundation is a nonprofit that we’ve created. We help children in need. Some of the causes we’ve helped with include surgeries for cleft palates and burns, and donating camp stays for kids with cancer.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with GoldenComm?
Our previous website had been built by other people, and it didn’t quite capture what we wanted it to. We didn’t want it to just tell people what we do and ask them to donate money. Our tagline is “Keeping hope alive” because we’ve found that we should do more than just help kids financially, feed them, or build wells.
We go to visit them in Haiti once a year, and we’ve been told that our visiting them meant that we really cared. We didn’t just donate things; we were there to be with them and give them hope. We wanted our website to say more about who we really were, and we went to GoldenComm to capture exactly that.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
GoldenComm built our site on WordPress. I wanted the ability to update content and images, so they made the site really easy to use. They also walked me through making those changes on WordPress.
What is the team composition?
I’ve mainly worked with just one teammate from GoldenComm, but others have come in periodically. I’ve met a total of about five teammates.
How did you come to work with GoldenComm?
I believe they came in to meet with some people for Barco Uniforms. Because GoldenComm also does pro bono work, they spoke with our owner, and I was pulled in to meet with them. They talked about possibly doing our Nightingales website pro bono, and it started from there.
How much have you invested with them?
They did it for us pro bono.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with GoldenComm in June 2020, and we launched the site in November 2020. The website’s done, but I’m new to WordPress, so I'm able to contact GoldenComm and ask for help.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I showed the site to a couple of people before the launch, and everyone loved it and said that it was visually-inviting and made them want to look at it more. That was precisely what we wanted the site to be.
There’s more information on this site about what we do than on our previous site, but the way GoldenComm designed it makes it easier to read. People are more interested in reading it. Our website hadn’t been updated for a while. In September 2020, we had six visitors, and, after launching the new version, we had 316.
How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?
We had a weekly meeting where they updated me, answered my questions, and discussed updates. With developers I worked with in the past, this process was quite stressful because they would promise me that they’d be done by a certain time, and they wouldn’t be. I’d contact them, and it would take a while.
I’ve never worked with anyone that was so on the ball as GoldenComm, whether it was for a website or anything else. We had a meeting every Thursday, and they always kept me updated and told me about delays in advance. When I had a question, it was answered right away. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
What did you find most impressive about them?
In the past, when we paid for website design, people would always say they couldn’t do certain things. GoldenComm was easy to work with, and they captured us through the website.
We’ve had other marketing companies advise us, and they would seem to understand what we wanted initially, but the end product was not that. The most amazing thing for me was that GoldenComm really understood who we were and was able to portray it.
This included things that I didn’t even mention, such as how information is presented on the site. They totally understood us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not that I can think of. I’m truly picky, but I can’t think of anything.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
They should be honest upfront about what it is they want to achieve, what’s important, and what the message of the website should be, and GoldenComm will succeed.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of On the Go. We sell cell phone accessories.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with GoldenComm?
We needed to redesign our website. We wanted it to be faster and more efficient to create a better user experience for our customers.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
GoldenComm built the website from scratch. We did a review of our current site and its functionalities. We explained to their team the problems and features we wanted to be added. The team was able to use an intermediary software that they had developed to improve the platform.
What is the team composition?
Joshua (Senior Project Manager) was our project manager. We also worked with Andrew (CTO), Brian (Product & Creative Director), and their lead programmer.
How did you come to work with GoldenComm?
A friend of ours is a web developer. He does much larger projects, but he had used GoldenComm for extra work and recommended them. After we checked them out and did a few interview calls with them, we felt confident that we could move on with them from there.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $500,000–$1 million.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from July 2018–March 2019.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We did some user feedback. We also did some speed tests on our side to make sure everything was up to par.
How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?
GoldenComm is outstanding. They’re great communicators, and their timelines are very good. They’re a pleasure to work with.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I really liked their dedication. With some companies, they decide whether your issues are business impacting or not before proceeding. We had a few bugs, which I expected. But any time that we had an issue, GoldenComm had resources ready to go. They dealt with it instantly. They were very aggressive and quick to fix any issues we had.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We were on different coasts, so there was a three-hour lag. But besides that, I would work with GoldenComm again in a heartbeat. Everything was delivered right on time. If there were any delays, it was on my side. Their support has been great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just provide them as much information as you can. Their team is great at taking what you want and putting it in front of you. The more information you can give them, the better they’re going to build for you.

GoldenComm provided web development services for a wireless telecommunications company. They worked to integrate NetSuite and incorporate different user interfaces to fit the client’s needs.
The recently launched new site has satisfied the client’s needs, helping them improve their loading speed and overall user interface. GoldenComm brought deep expertise to the work, prepared with solutions and ideas. The team’s ability to work around time differences made for a productive project.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of operations for VIP Wireless. We are a master agent of Boost Mobile, and we are one of the five master agents — we capture about 40% of the overall business. We own stores and move all the Boost prepaid products that are around the country.
It’s essentially a telecommunications company, but we are involved as the middleman in that process as far as taking care of the dealers, having sales go out, and making sure that their businesses are doing well.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with GoldenComm?
We’d been with the same developers for years. We were going in a new direction with a few new websites and we wanted to get a different take on it. We decided to just see what was out there as far as looking into the developers since the initial ones we have had.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We were primarily looking for website development from their team. We wanted our customers to be able to access the site from their phones, as well, so it was quite a bit of work. To start off, we told them essentially everything we wanted and they were open to hearing it all. We were trying to replicate everything we liked from the original site and translate it to the new site. Any questions we had, they would investigate it.
This included going into the ordering process to see what dealers saw and make changes there. It wasn’t just necessarily connecting NetSuite, which is what we use for admin on the website. It involved incorporating features so different users saw certain information depending on their roles and types of customers.
Specifically, they had to build our whole return program, which involved integrating several systems. They worked on communication within NetSuite and our site, since speed and user interface issues have always been there for us. We’re now releasing the site to go live.
What is the team composition?
Josh (Senior Project Manager) was our main point of contact. Josh was really the facilitator between our teams, and we also worked with Hiten (Senior Backend Developer) who was the technical lead, and he was pretty much in charge of all the backend work.
When we needed to go over technical details, Josh and Hiten were there, along with someone else on the development side. It worked well this way because, instead of talking to 30 different people, we got to work directly with 1–2 people, so that process was very good.
How did you come to work with GoldenComm?
I believe one of our subsidiary companies is an accessory company and we found them through word of mouth. We wanted to move in a new direction more for the future, so we were looking for someone to help us.
We’d heard good things about their ability with timelines, services, and helping businesses move and grow, so it wasn’t a shot in the dark to go with them.
How much have you invested in them?
The cost was likely between $500,000–$600,000. The cost is high because we knew it had to cater to our needs and GoldenComm was prepared for the scale and scope.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement mainly ran from January–October 2020. The initial release has gone live and we’re relatively wrapped up, but we’re still going back and forth with their team.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
As far as direct metrics, the main way to measure their impact is the timeline and the easy of flow with the information transfer. With previous developers, we weren’t on the same page and they didn’t explain the different technical aspects of the project. With GoldenComm, they were good at facilitating everything and ensuring the development team did exactly what we wanted.
We were pleased from the onset of working with their team and were impressed. We didn’t know what we’d get with new developers, but they definitely exceeded our expectations. They were good at discerning exactly what we wanted and connected the right developers. They were very valuable in that respect.
Their work also improved the loading speed of our website, which was one of the best parts of the work they did. They basically eliminated the user interface issues too, which was huge.
How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?
They were excellent in all three phases, especially because the whole team was readily available if any issues came up. They would take care of it all. I thought it might be more difficult because of the time difference and a lot of the nitty-gritty work got done overnight.
We weren’t used to the time differences, since Josh was on the west coast, we’re on the east coast, and developers were mainly in India. However, it was just something to get used to. We did our work, saw what needed to be done, communicated with Josh, and the next morning we could connect with them.
They were very good at keeping to deadlines and being honest. Their team was good at underselling things. For example, if we told them we needed a strict timeline, they’d say it would take a week and a half but would have it completed after a week.
A big thing that we were happy about was that they undersold every one of their deadlines and they were really active in making sure that we were pleased with each and every step. They were really involved in every aspect of it.
In the past, we’d worked with different people and couldn’t get the whole picture. For the most part, Josh kept it very organized as far as who to ask and how to ask. He would circle back and get good timelines to make sure that the work was being completed correctly and within our timeline.
We’re really happy with the post-release support that they’ve been able to provide. We’ve gotten on calls with them every day. For any little issue, they are willing to go over that with us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They had a lot of experience, so it seemed like they had heard it all before and knew exactly what to do. No matter what we wanted or needed, they were open to it, which was a big thing.
The way their program was set up essentially a plug and play. It seemed like they had a plan or a script no matter what scope or scale we needed, and knew how to follow through on it and check everything off. They weren’t going in blind to the project. They started at the shallow end and walked us through it all, so that was really good.
The wealth of knowledge they offered was really the biggest thing. When we were trying to make things better, they had a lot of suggestions. We could tell they’d been around the block, had seen a lot of industries, and would be a well-rounded partner.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Sometimes there can be a bit of a delay with certain things, but they are a really good development team. If they reached out to us at 10:30 pm our time, we couldn’t get back to them until the next morning. There was a bit of an issue connecting sometimes, but it was always taken care of the next day, so I can’t fault them other than that.
I won’t say that every single thing was done 100% perfectly and had no bugs, but if there were any issues they were very open to discussing it. I can’t fault them with anything major or minor.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would just pick up the phone and start talking to them. I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t be able to get you what you need. You’re going to be very pleased within a week as far as what your plan is and what they have to offer.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The team delivered a dynamic and engaging website. The quality of service was excellent. We had regular meetings and immediate follow-up.
How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, they were perfect. The team didn’t miss any deadlines. We communicated through weekly Google Meets and email. On their side, they used a tool to manage the project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I appreciated their feedback and ideas throughout the project. If I had a question or comment, they would often point me back in the right direction. Their feedback was welcomed.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, none at all.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would highly recommend them. My advice might be to try and work with the same team that I worked with, or at least Audra. She puts together a great team.

GoldenComm worked with a nonprofit conference to build a website. They implemented several features, including security implementations and contact pages. They also produced a dynamic landing page.
The final product blew away the client’s expectations, helping them achieve the level of security, online presence, and overall look they had envisioned. GoldenComm was a collaborative partner, embracing all ideas and bringing their own expertise to make for a productive, equal partnership.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a volunteer for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Holy Trinity Conference. I was the lead volunteer for the website development side. We don’t have any employees, and everyone who works here is a volunteer.
We are affiliated with the International Society of St. Vincent de Paul, headquartered in Paris. We are one of approximately 45 individual conferences in the United States.
Our conference focuses on the provision of food through a food pantry and also a clothing pantry. Within the food pantry, we focus on healthy food like fresh eggs, meat, dairy, vegetables, fruit, and things of that nature and we work on that issue to provide fresh food for families. For the clothing pantry, we provide clothes for all seasons, ages, and genders. Everything is at no charge to the recipients.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with GoldenComm?
We all have our own individual backgrounds in our specialties. Mine turned out to be the closest to website design even though I had never designed a website. I had only reviewed sites for various reasons for larger nonprofit companies, but I had never designed one, so I brought GoldenComm on board to help. We have a diverse audience and we needed it to be simple and clear but represent our brand.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
I was the lead person for the website design with GoldenComm and the interface between our organizations. I was the mover, listener, and decider up to the point where we both made decisions on everything.
What they did for us was truly soup to nuts. We needed to have a new domain name and to carefully build up all the theme pages, starting with the home page and individual ones within the theme. We also had to change things along the way to provide bespoke messaging when the pantry closed down for a week due to COVID-19. There was the initial overview of taking us from ground zero to a fully launched website which is what they did.
GoldenComm now hosts our website which means that if there are any attacks or any sort of downgrading of security, they would know first and would address it even before we would know. They were working for real beginners and brought us to a point where we were extremely happy with the website after all the challenges.
Another thing they helped us with was creating a really good, functioning landing page for our Wix website that was about to expire. This meant that we could still communicate with our clients instead of telling them our website was in progress.
How did you come to work with GoldenComm?
They were referred to us by a trusted volunteer. The competition was local website design firms. There is another one that is very well known in our area that designed a brand new website for another conference. It was competition in that sense, but we thought that this would be a better fit for us.
We were put in touch with a programmer manager at GoldenComm who had an affiliation with our conference. She asked me a series of questions that I thought were absolutely spot on, and she asked me to provide information about us so that she could respond better as to what they would be able to provide.
Within a couple of days, I provided them with a three-page synopsis about what I thought we needed. She took all of that information and provided a response, which really encouraged our board to work with GoldenComm.
It was a board decision after a bit of an interviewing back and forth and seeing what they could provide for what we needed. Once all of that was a little bit clearer, the board met and voted to proceed with GoldenComm. We decided to work with them even though they are geographically far from us — we are based in central Illinois and GoldenComm is based in California. We were so impressed with everything that we heard about them, what they would be able to provide for us and felt they would be a good fit.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with them in January 2020, and the launch date was September 9, 2020. We anticipated that the project would be finished several months earlier, but COVID-19 delayed some of the processes, and so the launch date was in September.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality of the project was superb. One of the areas we were concerned about was security, but their work addressed those needs and we have a state of the art, secure site. They made the site have an international feel, since we are very well known around the world and they used the precise color palettes we needed.
Everything flows beautifully including the colors and the photographs, which are stock photos because of COVID-19 — at some point we’ll get professional photos. People can now use contact pages to directly speak with us, which we never had before.
At the end of the day, everything is tight and not complicated. When you add all of the features together, that adds to the superb quality for us because we hit the mark. More importantly, our clients, volunteers, and our board agree with me.
That landing page they made for our expiring Wix site saved us. That gave us some extra time to finish everything ahead of the launch. They worked with us and helped us solve our problems every time we came to a decision point and had one, they were right there with us.
How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicated through Zoom, which they set up. In almost every case, it was a video Zoom, and there were a few times that we had Zoom telephone calls. Communication was all online — they are 1,800 miles away from where we are, so we’ve never met face to face. They were perfect at managing deadlines. They were faster than you can even imagine; it was fantastic.
Along the way, there were some individual challenges that I think a lot of companies experience that we did not anticipate. It was a challenging period of time in history and for the economy. They also had to educate us before we made decisions, which they were very patient with and it was valuable for us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The most impressive thing was the feeling that they were watching out for us. We have the largest food pantry in this county but we’re not giants or like other normal clients. It could have been easy for them to think we weren’t as important because we don’t have the same economic presence, but they never made us feel that way. They always made us feel highly valued and I appreciated that.
There was a level of shared respect; they were so good at what they do and they appreciated what our organization does. We never felt intimidated by their ability to do things we cannot do. Sometimes people can feel unequal in partnerships, but this was a true partnership.
They were incredibly patient and thoughtful, and allowed us to come up with our own ideas. Even if they knew from their own experience it wouldn’t be as effective as we hoped, they educated us and allowed us to be a lot more self-sufficient as partners.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s absolutely no area to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Do it — this a fantastic company. There are a lot of design companies, but they have a certain energy and a cohesive team. They have multiple locations in the US and internationally, so they have the ability to be a powerhouse.
All I know is that any company that is really small like ours to a very large company should work with this company and they can handle it.
There is nothing that stops me from saying they can’t do a big project because I know they can based on their portfolio and experience. They always do perfect work and are on time and have a lot of graciousness along the way.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the COO of Payment Depot, a financial services company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with GoldenComm?
We needed someone to redesign our website.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started using them for PPC campaigns. Through that, we decided to bring them on to design a new website. They did both development and design. Our old site was a mess, so they cleaned up the backend as well. We used WordPress.
We had an initial call, and we went into their office and showed them all the different collateral that we had and what we wanted the look and feel to be. We let them take it in the direction they felt made the most sense. They were able to learn the ins and outs of our industry through the process.
How did you come to work with GoldenComm?
We were familiar with them from the past. Our owner had worked with them previously at a different company.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from November 2019–June 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We just launched. It turned out to be a great looking website. It’s been great. The communication is good. They were very responsive, and we’re very happy with what they did.
How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?
We had weekly calls with them where we went through the different steps of the project. We had a project manager who kept things in line and always gave us a timetable. We happen to be local to them and we had 5-6 in-person brainstorming sessions as well.
They used GatherContent which really helped us in terms of being able to know where we stood. They made it really easy for us to add content, organize, and see who was in charge of the next task. We weren’t under a strict deadline because we had a site that was working okay, so we didn’t press them for a certain date. We didn’t really have a timeline and even then, they still got it launched faster than we thought they would.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The people they brought into the meetings really took the time to learn the business. When they came up with the final product, it showed that they had an understanding of the ins and outs of our business which is sort of complicated. That was really important in terms of coming up with the right designs and wording. They actually learned and understood us versus just trying to put something together that was more cookie-cutter.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we were thoroughly impressed with the whole process.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They can work as fast as their customer can get them the information. Any of the delays were usually on our side. If you’re organized and have an idea of what you’re looking for, they’ll be as fast as possible.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the CEO of Leadlander.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with GoldenComm?
We had divested our business from a public company and needed to go through a website rebuild and marketing rebrand.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We did an entirely new WordPress marketing website build from scratch, including all-new content. We worked on a logo and rebranding of what we had done previously. We've done a multi-tiered marketing plan around the relaunch of our services and they're also doing some IT and technology management for us on the backend. We did the brainstorming together, but we followed what their recommendations were.
What is the team composition?
We have six people from their team, including a project manager.
How did you come to work with GoldenComm?
I know their CEO and have worked with him in a different capacity for the past 10 years as partners.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in November 2019, and our engagement is going.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The work has always been top quality. We were given a timeline based on what our needs were and we were never waiting on them. If anything, they were always waiting on us.
How did GoldenComm perform from a project management standpoint?
It's done according to a plan that we all agree to, so it's very systematic in the way they go about deploying things and keeping them to a schedule. We had a real solid team working for us. We did weekly management meetings for the various projects we were working on. Sometimes it would be multiple meetings per month. The project manager was in charge of all the different facets of that. They kept things very well organized and communicated exactly what we were doing. We communicated via email, phone, and web conference.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Knowing their CEO and previous work made it easy to start working with them, but the way they delivered everything we were promised made it easy to have a long-standing relationship with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We're a small group that's doing a lot of different things and we really relied on them to be experts. Our only constructive criticism would be is that we gave them freedom without our feedback, but they still needed some communication from us to bring it all together.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to understand the scope of the project that you're looking to do. Rely on them on their expertise in trying to get it done.
