I am the manager in a transportation company. Our clients are entrepreneurs and medium-sized enterprises in different states.

We were looking for a company that could assist us with the development of customized app to promote and sell our services.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I personally know the co-founder of the company. I respect his approach to work and his business ethics.

Global App Lab performed both the development and design. I explained the team what I had in mind regarding the designs and function set. The team analyzed it and sent me their ideas and the initial wireframes. Then, we exchanged ideas until the moment we collaboratively created something both parties were happy with.

The team consisted of five professionals: iOS and Android developers, a backend developer, a designer, and a QA engineer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were excited to see our vision being realized by Global App Lab. They analyzed each part of the project from the start, assessed our basic needs and provided customized solutions and ideas. They have done a great job of bringing our idea almost to life.

These guys were highly professional. And they were always there to help or answer questions. In case there was a bug or an error, they took action and full responsibility and handled the issue with dignity and professionalism. They were willing to do whatever it took to make sure a client was happy. The team ensured a client got what they were expecting. Most of our communication was by phone and email. Global App Lab met all of my deadlines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were one the most decent teams I had worked with. They were always straightforward, honest and willing to help. They understood the financial boundaries of a project and generated affordable suggestions, which met our expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, nothing comes to mind.

I am an art director in a company launching an app for mobile payments.

The initial UI/UX design of the app, including a working prototype, which will be further used in the development and the marketing campaign.

How did you select this vendor?

I started with a general search, web browsing and asking for referrals from those who I can trust. Along that, I analyzed several similar apps and made research on the teams, which developed those. As the result of my extensive research, I decided that Global App Lab would be a perfect choice.

Following the initial call with Global App Lab and the review of the project, we specified the scope of future work. As soon as we realized that the team was a perfect match for our project, we had some more online meetings to make sure they get what exactly we were striving for. Since then, on a daily basis we have been able to check the status of our project in Slack. It has been really simple to introduce all the necessary changes and get the answers to our questions.

A project manager and a couple of designers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The prototype has been very helpful at the initial stages of our sales meetings. The customer feedback that we have got is positive. The in-house developer appreciated the quality of the prototype, as the components provided by the team have been extremely useful in the app development process.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It has been flawless. Communication has been clear and consistent via Slack. Video calls were scheduled and held when needed. The communication has been transparent.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It is impressive how fast the team responds to any of our inquiries or questions. The team embraced the idea and did everything for you. No need to worry about the small stuff. Major points were clearly presented with the options for solving and we did not need to waste time by discussing the same issue over and over again. The team is very proactive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It would be great if we could more easily adjust the prototype after the project completion. Can’t think of anything else, really.

Global App Lab helped me develop an app for field workers (drivers) on both iOS and Android platforms.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I got quotes from locally based and foreign teams. I was amazed with the resources applied by the team to make my project happen. They have been applying specially designed UI/UX resources, specific platforms (ios/android) and cutting-edge project management techniques. Among the main reasons of choosing them was the UI/UX discovery, prototyping, and iteration.

I had an idea of the app I would like to integrate in the corporate workflow and I needed a team of professionals who would create a proper MVP for it. If such MVP would be successful, it would lead to further development on both the Android and iOS platforms.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I was thrilled with the results of the MVP step of the project. Our staff did not have any problems using the app. No training was needed. The necessary field data was collected almost with no errors. The MVP step has been completed with minor changes.

The communication with the team has been efficient and clear so far. We have had several scheduled meetings on the main aspects and brief calls when needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team consists of true professionals, especially those engaged into UI/UX. Their expertise in dealing with high fidelity prototypes helped specify the design before coding began.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It is a five-star review from us. We have not had any concerns whatsoever.
