I'm the CEO and owner of HungaroRaft, a recreation company. We provide professional whitewater rafting, canyoning, and outdoor adventure tours led by licensed multilingual guides on the world-renowned Soča River in Slovenia.

What challenge were you trying to address with Getweys?

We needed to develop a comprehensive end-to-end mobile application and software platform for our company. The platform needed to feature a complex internal tour management system and an intuitive customer-facing module.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Getweys has handled the end-to-end design and full-stack development of our custom mobile application and back-office management platform. The main deliverables include an internal operations dashboard for scheduling tours, assigning guides, and managing logistics; a customer-facing mobile app for online waiver signatures, digital check-in, and route planning to our base; backend architecture, database design, and seamless system integrations; and UI/UX design, quality assurance, and ongoing deployment support.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The system has delivered immediate, tangible improvements to our daily operations and team efficiency. We save approximately two hours of administrative work every day. Additionally, the app provides all key information, directions, and timing in advance, drastically reducing repetitive phone inquiries before check-in. Guests arrive well-informed, on time, and with completed digital waivers, making on-site onboarding smooth and effortless.

Moreover, tour logs and reports can be generated in seconds rather than handled manually. Throughout our entire peak season, our guide staff, vehicles, and equipment were scheduled and managed completely error-free. Tour reporting and documentation dropped from 10 minutes down to under 1–2 minutes per trip.

In previous years, late arrivals were a frequent headache — especially with guests driving in from farther away. This season, even with an approximate 25% increase in total guest volume, delays were minimal. Whenever someone did face travel issues, they notified us well in advance through the app. Over 75% of guests completed their liability waivers before arriving on-site, effectively eliminating morning registration bottlenecks. We maintained a 100% error-free track record in guide assignments and minibus allocations throughout the entire high season.

How did Getweys perform from a project management standpoint?

Getweys' project management and dedication have been exceptional throughout the entire collaboration. They consistently deliver on time and are available around the clock — at one point, I even jokingly asked them if they ever sleep! Whenever we reach out with questions or feature requests, their team responds almost immediately. During testing, any identified bugs or necessary adjustments are resolved virtually on the spot.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What impresses me the most is their exceptional customer care, thoroughness, and genuine dedication to ensuring I'm completely satisfied with the final product. They go above and beyond to make sure the app fully meets — and even exceeds — all of my expectations.

Moreover, they significantly overdeliver on their initial commitments. As development has progressed, new operational challenges have emerged, and fresh ideas have come up, but their team has never pushed back. The phrase “impossible to implement” simply doesn't exist in their vocabulary. They take every curveball in stride and find solid, practical solutions for everything.

Honestly, there's nothing significant that comes to mind. Given the complexity of the features, our changing requirements during development, and the tight timeline, they've handled everything with remarkable professionalism and flexibility. I'm completely satisfied with their work and would gladly partner with them again on future projects.

Project was divided into 6 milestones (deliverables).

Milestone 1 was about planning and setup, where things like requirements collection, tech stack and scope confirmation, wireframes/Figma designs, etc. was finalized.

Milestone 2 was related to development and integration of app's core features.

Milestone 3 was regarding support features and anti-fraud authentication. This also included an admin panel (order management, delivery status tracking, etc.).

Milestone 4 included UX/UI improvement.

Milestone 5 was testing & deployment.

Milestone 6 included public launch of the app, and any support related to it.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It is hard to measure impact and success at this time because the launch is really new. But I have been satisfied with Getwey's work throughout this journey. They always have an ear for me, are respectful in conversations, and do self-accountability where required.

They understood the assignment and always came up with interesting and innovative ideas when it was required. When evidently mistakes were made, they were able to quickly identify and rectify it.

They have worked with credible companies, and provide great 1-to-1 service. The aspect of self-accountability is really essential for me, and they always lived up to the challenge.

• Although, the frequency and speed of communication was great, the quality of it could be  slightly improved.
• Explore strategies to avoid recurring mistakes.
• Sometimes the deadlines were not met. This aspect could also be slightly improved.

Getweys provided website development and management for us. Their team rescues us by coming in, finalizing the website, and migrating data. They first migrated data, including user, product, and sales information. This task has been challenging due to WordPress's structure, but Getweys has tackled it by writing custom scripts to separate each table and move them smoothly to the new database.

In addition, Getweys's team has launched the website and switched the domain to the new one. Currently, they are doing SEO, optimizing the website, adding sales and discount features, and integrating new payment methods.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The website that Getweys is developing for us works reliably, and the code is solid. We rarely find bugs after a feature has gone live; when we do, it's usually minor. Additionally, the amount of customer traffic to our website we receive continues to increase.
