I am the Marketing analyst at Brix Labs. We work on staffing consulting.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Future Metrics, and what were your goals?

We needed to revamp our website. The goal was to revamp the front end UI part of the website. We hired Future Metrics for planning and designing the UI on AngularJS

How did you select Future Metrics and what were the deciding factors?

We shortlisted few companies in US by searching online and after talking to them finalized to work with Future Metrics. We saw a lot of web development and marketing agencies with really bad online portfolio and websites which is ironic.

The day we visited Future Metrics, we knew they are perfect one as their website was similar to what we wanted. The biggest deciding factor was to have some who is acceptable for changes further down the road and have budget friendly rates.

We were surprised at how talented the team is and still they were so humble and comforting while talking us through the whole process.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

First we had a project scope meeting with the team to discuss the goals and deliverables. We got a wireframe of the website in 3 weeks and it was almost close to our final product.

We had some minor changes and after 2 revisions the website was complete in one and half month. After that, we strategized with them regarding the SEO on the website which was a complimentary service they provided along with the website development and finished all the work in the first week of October.

The UI was made on Angular JS but a lot parts in the website were custom designed in Adobe.

How many people from the Future Metrics team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had the pleasure of working with 3 team members. The project manager communicated all the details during the project and she was definitely the bridge between our company and Future Metrics. There was one Front End developer and one designer who handled the design and development part of the website.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We love the new design. After the revamp of our website we were able to more efficiently convert the clients and saw 45% increase in the website traffic.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had 2 catch up meetings every week during the project where we checked the progress and brainstormed ideas. The project manager was very communicative and we usually used Slack or call to discuss the details of the project which was very efficient.

They provided the website before the discussed timeline so we got ample of time for revisions and SEO strategy.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are the true underdogs in this market who believe in communication. I had a discussion with CEO and he told us about the project management methodology they follow in the organization which is quite impressive.

They were good at designing a website and coming up with unique ideas, which we never thought about. I love when they talk about numbers and measurable indicators. This is probably the most data-driven team I have worked with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We were looking for social media management too but their current social media manager was busy with other client which was a bummer. They can hire some more social media managers for future clients.
