I met Sven and he offered me to set up a new site for free, for my freelance business.
Sven proved to be very fair and precise and I appreciated him right from the start, so I accepted. 
Today, I have a beautiful new site and I am very grateful to Sven and all the staff for the excellent work they did.

The Free Website Guys explained the process of how they worked which was very beneficial.  I had a great group of web templets to pick from all of which were beautifully designed but which could be customized for my store and my desires.  The Guys did all of the back end work to make sure the site was fully functional from the back to the front.  Not just a pretty site that would not be showing up in Google analytics, etc.  Many designers don't do that.  They only worry about making the part that you see functional.  They supplied videos that explained their process and once the process was complete they supplied turn over videos that showed how now the site was yours you could change the background and products on the site.  I have to say that the way that you do this is one of easiest means of doing so.  I also have to say they were more than tolerant as I know I delayed them completing my site because of me having personal issues to deal with.  Great guys who produced for me a great site with everything they promised it would be.

They were very much in touch and described where they were in the scope of my project.  I had to supply them with information which once they had they acted on immediately or alerted me to when they would be taking the next steps in the project.  There were never any long delays on their end.  They were very helpful if I did not understand something both during the project and after the project was completed which is outstanding as many companies are done with you the minute that the project is complete.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The fact that they were doing a complete functional website for free was a realy headturner.  The fact that they would take the time to do the site right and make sure you understood each step is unique in the world today and especially as they were not getting paid for it.  That they were accessible and answered every email and question that you might have also sets them apart from many others.

Are there any areas for improvement or something The Free Website Guys could have done differently?

I did not think so.  Yes you were required to listen and learn as you went along but that is all to the good in the end.
