TheFreeWebsiteGuys provided the back-end services to create a website while offering deals for their patrons on domain access, analytics, and website design.  The key deliverables included a domain, web pages, and back-end resourcing. I was given website template designs to choose from (basic and premium) and communicated with throughout the process.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Throughout the email thread, I was notified of the progress and was given previews to the work being done on my website. The main measurable outcome was seeing the website be worked on after the website template selection. After I selected the template I wanted, I was told to make a video describing the changes I wanted done to the template. Once my changes were added I considered that a success.

The project management was solid. They delivered items on time with the exception of one week when emails ceased, and I did not get a response in the timeframe stated before. They came back and explained what happened. They responded to my needs in a fashion that was efficient.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found most impressive and unique about this company was its business structure. I appreciated the transparency and loved the fact that they do websites practically free and rely on customer satisfaction to generate return customers and boost referrals in hopes of bringing in patrons willing to pay full price for their more premium services.

Are there any areas for improvement or something The Free Website Guys could have done differently?

Yes, they have a standardized visual aid process that they provide when giving instructions to their clients. The problem is that the visuals sometimes do not match the current layout of whatever they are showing. This creates confusion for the customer if they are being told to follow what they see in the visuals, but the placements of certain icons, pages, etc. are not what's being shown. I had to let my person know this multiple times, and it slowed down my response time to them because it took longer to figure things out.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I was hesitant about working with The Free Website Guys, because (1) my personal experiences in working with free services have almost always been underwhelming and (2) I am not a tech savvy person and doubted that they would be willing to handhold me through the process. But I decided to try them out after reading other testimonials on their website and to be honest, mainly because they responded to my request so quickly. From the time I signed up until the process started was somewhere between 24-48 hours.

I especially appreciated their level of attentiveness in communications. Not only do they answer all of my questions quickly, give an update when there is a delay, but they also prepare a tutorial video for every single step that I was required to do. Their systemization helped make my job easier and very peaceful as a customer. And I assume that it helps the workers on their team make the least mistakes as well.

After having worked with many online workers where miscommunication/under-communication and lack of systemization have been a nightmare to deal with, I highly recommend the Free Website Guys and would definitely work with them again myself.

I want to mention I am not tech Savey at all and I didn't have the slightest clue of how to build a website & they made the process SO easy!  I've wanted to build a website for a year but it was way to expensive anywhere I looked for professional help. On top of making the the process so incredibly easy I really appreciated how fast they were on top on everything! There response time for any questions I had was fast and I know if I tried to do this on my own I would of gotten stuck and confused so many times. I had a beautiful website made up & running  in less then a month! Really appreciate the service they provide and I would highly recommend them!
