On my end the work I did was communicating with thefreewebsiteguys. The most work I had to do was choosing a theme for my website and purchasing the website servers. The process can be a lot faster depending on respond rates. In my case I was in high season so my respond for emails was decreased significantly.

Thefreewebsiteguys recommended the best options for me and I’d encourage small businesses to apply for their service it was a 10/10.

If there is something they can improve on I didnt notice. They are absolutley great at what they do and communication is on point!

To start, they began by to setting up the back end of our website. Then they configured the wordpress. Then installed a number of key plugins and configured permalinks and the security settinds. After that they helped us pick out a theme and loaded that in. Set up the page structureand got the menu configured. Then finally they began to work on the front end of the website. Then they loaded in my theme.

What challenge were you trying to address with The Free Website Guys?

I wanted The Free Website Guys to create a website for my business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Free Website Guys created a website for my business. They added Updraft, which saves the work in case something goes wrong with the website. They also gave me a plugin with a conditional cookie warning and a customized cookie policy called Complianz, which generates terms and conditions.

Additionally, they added Elementor, a website builder. They also added a search plugin called FiboSearch and many more plugins, all in the website template.

What is the team composition?

There were around 3–10 people involved in the project.

How did you come to work with The Free Website Guys?

I found The Free Website Guys when I was looking for website creators on Google.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in December 2024, and they finished everything I asked them to do. However, they continue to help me with questions or changes I need to make to my website.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website isn’t ready yet from my side because I still have to add the products and make some customizations to the website, like changing the photos and texts.

How did The Free Website Guys perform from a project management standpoint?

The Free Website Guys always did things on time. Sometimes they forgot to answer or were busy, but they always said they were sorry. They were busy with other projects, which was understandable since it’s a free program, and there are probably many other people they have to answer and edit the websites.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed that they did all this for free. Anything I needed and wanted, they did it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think so. Considering it was all free, I can’t mind the little problems or the times it took a little longer to answer.
