Our idea is to provide financial education to a Brazilian audience, but given the current uncertainties with COVID-19, we would not have been able to afford a professional-looking.

The quality of work and responsiveness of the team were the key highlights for us. Given the current uncertainties caused by COVID-19, we would not have been able to afford such a professional-looking had it not been for The Free Website Guys.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No major issue comes to mind. Maybe a clearer idea of likely upfront costs - i.e. hosting, themes, etc - would have been nice. That said, such expenses were not very significant and The Free Website Guys were always very transparent about it.

My friend told me about Free Website Guys. I was a bit skeptical at first, nothing is for free. I checked out the website and submitted my proposal.

They were honest from the beginning (for example, cost towards the hosting service) and advised on how everything works. This process was seamless, and Sven provided detailed emails on next steps with how to videos. I had no idea what I needed to do on my end, but Sven was there to answer all of my questions. Great communication on the time frame, response times, and different options for upgraded versions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What a fantastic and effective experience to work with the Free Website Guys. I have had many website builds over the past 2 decades and spent thousands... and more often than not the experience was drawn out, difficult and expensive.

So when I saw the FWG add I gave it a go yet didn’t expect much. I honestly thought it was too good to be true...

All I can say now is Wow! From the get go the communication has been clear, frequent, focussed, professional and so courteous. These are the most well mannered, caring and honest website creators I have met and they know what they are doing and are doing it superbly. It has been the most rapid and easy website build I have ever experienced.

On top of all the obvious pluses I have learnt a few new things so feel empowered because of the process. I love my stunning new website so I highly recommend them and will undoubtedly work with FWG’s in the future.

Like many small business owners, the pandemic caused me to have to make a major pivot in my business in order to survive. I knew I needed to rebrand, including launching a new website, but I was struggling with doing it on my own. That's when I found out about the Free Website Guys. I was a bit skeptical at first, but they really did produce a great looking website for me for free.

I worked with Sven who was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process and updating me on the progress. Their videos on how to edit the content were clear and easy to understand, making the handoff go smoothly. This is one experience I had in 2020 that I can actually recommend to others!

The biggest outcome is that I now have a working website for my blog. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and how enjoyable it was to work with Sven.

All communication was through email and very the timeline moved along quickly. I even received updates along the way and in between steps.

I was blown away by the amount of detail and time that was put into my website through a "free service". The only thing you have to do is use their affiliate links, but it's services you would pay for if you built your own webpage anyways. I highly recommend working with them and if I need their services in the future I would definitely work with them again.

Nothing! They are top notch!

Ease of getting the job done with my other responsibilities and ability to apply for free support were factors.

The Free Website Guys at thefreewebsiteguys.com have been phenomenal in helping me with my new position. I inherited a decade old website that looked terrible and was difficult to manage. I needed something up-to-date, mobile responsive, with a few important features for the trade association for privacy, and the ability to manage it myself going forward. I was and am familiar with WordPress.

Using these “guys” and their recommendations for BlueHost and DIVI and some plugins, the website is up and running with much less effort. I live in the land of Nike (Just do it!) and I just posted on LinkedIn today using a quote from Yoda, “Do or Do Not. There is no try.” Don’t just give them a try, Do It. I left out “just” because then it would be a improper use of Nike’s trademark.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The website has been created and the last thing to be done is to upload all of my content!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very effective (I feel) to only communicate with one person from their side that way I could express my thoughts and feelings for the project once and not get interpretive feedback from multiple people. Everything was consolidated the way it needed to be done, and they worked around my current work schedule.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their work ethic! They worked diligently and I was able to keep tabs on what had been uploaded and when. It was very fast!

Are there any areas for improvement?

One thing that I would improve on would be to set up a video chat or some kind of call at the beginning to get a feel for the project a little more authentically. However, they were willing to work around my work schedule so I cannot speak for everyone. Otherwise, fantastic work!
