The team contacted me after I applied for their service and the goal was clear: set up the technical part of a website for me, a starter in business with no clue about how a website technically works. The team connected me to Bluehost and gave me a step-by-step instruction how to set up the hosting. Once completed, they set the back-end development such as SEO, plugins, security, permalinks, etc. 
Next, I had to pick a theme, choose what alterations I wanted and they took care of the front design of the website and also delivered content for the homepage (the last one was a bonus to me for which I was very happy about!). To complete the process, Google Workspace, Analytics, business e-mail, etc. was linked to the website.

Due to circumstances I had to put promoting my business website on hold for a while. I can't say anything about metrics just yet. However: in the meantime, with the pleasant thought of the website being set up, it gave me more room to think about the next steps for my business. So no metrics, but time gained for sure: if had to do this on my own I would never have started it to begin with.

From the very beginning, they were incredibly helpful and attentive to my needs and wishes. The entire process was impressively fast (answers to questions typically came within a day).

Are there any areas for improvement or something The Free Website Guys could have done differently?

Give more insight in the necessity of alternative packages/additions like Google Workspace: it was recommended to buy a few extra products through the hosting service. I take responsiblity for the fact that I could've and maybe should've asked about the necessity of the products. However, in retrospect I think for future clients -who generally don't have the knowledge about these things, that's why we're so happy with you!- it's recommendable to provide more detailed information.

The Free Website Guys built us a full website from scratch, including web development, design and copywriting, backend support, e-commerce setup, and helpful how-to guides across every stage. The end result was a beautiful, live, secure website that I will use for years to come.

Sven and the team provided real-time updates, set clear expectations about when certain parts of the project would be complete, and consistently followed through. The process was seamless and highly custom to my needs. The most measurable outcome is a functional website, which they exceeded my expectations in providing.

Yes, consistently. Sven and the team set very clear, ambitious objectives, and consistently followed through. Their team responded within 24-48 hours as promised, and consistently much quicker than that.

Free websites are unheard of, but Sven followed through and I spent almost no money aside from web hosting services and a custom design. I will be referring significant business to Sven and his team because of this.

A "project brief" provided at the very start could have been helpful to understand the whole timeline from start to finish, but because each project is unique, I understand if this would have been too involved.

The person I did my final checkout with was not very professional (video chat from home with lots of domestic background noise she was unable to change making it hard for me to hear her instructions; she seemed distracted and somewhat annoyed by my request to improve the sound). Otherwise, the bulk of my communications (w/Sven) were excellent.

The scope was to create a website that I can use for affiliate marketing. After paying for the webhosting with Bluehost they embarked to developing that website. The communiation with the especially Sven Nilsen was good and prompt. Every concern I had was handled immediately.

Everytime they will email the report of the status of the website development- what they have done and what is remaining. They actually finished their work and handed over the website without having paid nothing-the only expense I incured was the webhosting price which is small fee.

Owning a state of the art website that is live and I can use for affiliate marketing. After they finished the work the website was handed over to me.

From the begining they will ask You if You need the website quickly or whats the plan. From this I learnt from Sven Nilsen that they will want to prioritize ones project because of the numerable projects they have.  For mine it took eight hours as they informed me at the end but was spread in three months. This was so because sometimes it would take me a while before I read my emails and respond to them.

The amount of trust was top notch....more so due to constant communication.  Also from the beginning, they seemed to know what they were doing.

I think it was a good job done. Time spent is what I would request to be quicker but considering the gift they are giving to me and the amount of work at hand one has to be patient and courteous........but eventually they will deliver.
