FourPlus exceeded expectations in every way. The project manager, Vicky, was remarkably organized and a great communicator. The Creative Director and designer(s) were strategic in their approach and always over-delivered. It was an incredibly compressed time schedule which they met.

Since we were in different countries, all the meetings were over Google Meet. We scheduled weekly meetings to connect and look at progress. When work was sent over email, we provided edits and woke up to those edits the next morning.

From our early days in Generation Snack, Fourplus helped us form our brand strategy, form our visual identity, and create the blueprint for our product packaging design. Additionally, Fourplus also designed our first website and helped find and contact artists for collaborations with our packaging.

Fourplus were very responsive, kept our mutually agreed deadlines and were always available for a call or video chat. Most significantly, Fourplus was open to receiving much of our feedback on video files, as opposed to long emails. We would simply just speak over a screen recording or to the camera, and collect our feedback in a 5-10 minute video and upload it to YouTube and share with Fourplus. 
This feedback format has worked very well for us, and we were happy that Fourplus embraced this completely. The fact that we stayed away from too many email feedback sessions, we limited the need for clarifications and extra meetings, and generally kept the flow of deliverables smooth and progressive.

I found it unique, that Fourplus has a collection of different talent in-house, whom all spoke English to a professional and great standard. In the past, we have had some challenges working with creatives from Eastern Europe, given cultural barriers and general differences in wthe 'feel' for quality and style in a Scandinavian market. I was therefore impressed with the quality of work and professional feel we were met with at Fourplus.

Episode Six provided FourPlus with a 1:30 script that provided an overview of the capabilities of our key SaaS platform. From that script, FourPlus translated technical concepts into a visually stunning storyboard. From that storyboard, FourPlus created the final finished product, including sound design. The finished 1:30 video far exceeded our expectations and clearly communicated our initial script in an impactful way.

This video has been used in multiple marketing campaigns, including as a centerpiece of our event booth at Money 20220 - Europe. It has generated multiple follow-up conversations and received high ratings from both internal and external audiences for its visual appeal and clarity of messaging.

Despite the timezone differences between Sofia and Austin, the team at FourPlus was highly responsive, and they felt like a local partner. They clearly communicated updates about timeline and budget, and exceeded our expectations at every stage of the process. They were strong, collaborative partners at every step of the process, and always provided thoughtful feedback and insight.

• To also provide specialized images in the same style upon demand for use as "covers" of article collections within the journal, and any other special projects as required.

• Successful delivery of complete visual re-branding of our journal - huge amounts of positive feedback on this from readers and stakeholders. Efficient and top-quality ongoing work, delivering article batches on time and to an excellent service standard when iterating changes from pencil sketches to coloured graphics.

The project management could've been better. Initially the scope of the project was set for 3 months, however due to couple reasons listed below, the scope extended to almost 6 months in total. The biggest reason for the delay is more unplanned iterations. The initial feedback loops were only in written form, which resulted in extra delays and misunderstandings between both sides. The team was flexible & quick in their reactions, but we didn't always feel understood.

Very kind and responsive team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something FourPlus could have done differently?

The major thing we'll point is the project management & planing. Roadmap communication was poor and timeline changes were not well communicated with us. More focus to details would've result in less iterations. Our feeling was that the people working on our tasks are multitasking, which resulted in sometimes quickly produced work without all our comments resolved. Inconsistency in the produced assets and their styles made it seem like multiple people undertake one task and work partially on it, without syncing with each other.
