Local town government. I'm the IT Manager for the town.

For what projects/services did your company hire Flagship Networks, Inc.?

Revamping our infrastructure, email system conversion, staff augmentation, ongoing system support.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have a long history with Flagship Networks. They were offering an email solution we desired and could afford.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We were using a very old POP3 email system. We wanted to upgrade to a contemporary email system. Flagship suggested Outlook365. It met our needs. They setup the email environment for us and migrated our user accounts and email archives from our POP3 system to Outlook365.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had at least three Flagship resources working on this project at any given time. I'm unsure of their job titles. Two of these resources were experts on converting email users to Outlook 365.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project went well and we were up and running with a minimal amount of service disruption. Our user community was familiar with Outlook 2010 so Outlook365 was fairly intuitive.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our team worked well together on this project as we have on other projects for which we've engaged Flagship's assistance.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our ongoing relationship. Flagship knows our organization well.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We would have appreciated much more system support knowledge transfer.
