The project management was ideal, with just the right amount of transparency into their thinking and work process to make it feel collaborative, without ever feeling adrift in possibilities. Our ideas were heard, and (if within scope) adopted and often improved upon, and our needs were 100% met.

Supported all front end engineering and defining technical strategy for building new web interfaces on top of legacy software to drive enrollment goals for large Boston area University. Work included multiple websites; database applications and web applications that helped customers better identify their degree program and manage the process of applying and registration through the completion of their degree.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Fast Forward was able to support the very high demand for new solutions supporting the launch of 5 separate applications in less than 3 years. They also helped us navigate the complexities of partnering with IT to integrate with legacy software in secure and compliant ways that still supported delivering the optimal customer experience in support of business goals.

Fast Forward embedded with us and committed project management resources skilled in agile software development to help us run a sprint cadence that kept design ahead of engineering enough to support rapid execution and close collaboration with in house engineers.

AspenTech wanted to create an application to facilitate conversations with process industry executives, positioning themselves as a leader and visionary in the field. A key goal is to convey how AspenTech can help facilitate flow of project information across the project lifecycle. This app needed the following requirements: 

• PC Based Application
  • Welcome screen: messaging, basic instructions
  • Selection screen: The user chooses the site location
  • Site view screen: Interactable 3D model
  • User interface: zoom, rotation, position controls
  • Data changes based on location
  • Additional popup and detail views
  • Highlighting or revealing certain layers in the model

The Sales group for this division has used this prototype along with other content to close at least 4 six-figure deals That I know of.

They were always on time with every deliverable. Every change order and revision was finished quickly, professionally, and on time.

We always felt like the only customer, every call was answered, and every meeting attended. We always had the A team working with us! It was a true partnership, and they created a great outcome.

Fast Forward has successfully accomplished a comprehensive website overhaul, seamlessly transitioning from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 and, ultimately, to the latest Drupal 10 version. Collaborating closely with the MarCom department, Fast Forward engaged in a partnership to handle every aspect of the redesign process. 

From initial design concepts to development and ongoing site maintenance, the joint efforts of Fast Forward and the MarCom team have resulted in a modernized and upgraded website that meets the latest industry standards and provides an enhanced user experience.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The Fast Forward website redesign and migration project yielded several measurable outcomes that serve as indicators of progress and success: 

• Improved User Engagement Metrics: Key metrics such as bounce rates, page views, and average session duration demonstrated a significant improvement, indicating enhanced user engagement and satisfaction. All metrics improved in a postive direction with the launch. 
• Security Improvements: Measurable enhancements in website security metrics, such as reduced vulnerability exposure and quicker response to security threats, demonstrated the success of the migration in bolstering the website's overall security.

We had a dedicated PM for the project(s). It went very smoothy communicating our needs. They would also recommend features and ideas we did not think of. Fast Forward maintained open and transparent lines of communication, regular updates, progress reports, and collaborative discussions.
