BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are an IoT-based telecom sector company. We deal in IoT applications and hardware as well. We set up networks for LoraWan devices across India. I work as a Server and Cloud Administrator here. For my personal project, I hired explorate global.

For what projects/services did your company hire Explorate Global, and what were your goals?

My brother and many of his corporate friends were facing challenges to manage routine operations in their business and hence he was looking for an automated solution that he could also sell to solve other's problems as well.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We were talking to numerous vendors and then came across Explorate. We were impressed by their professionalism and detail oriented approach, they are extremely thorough in their presentation and could gauge our problem in a jiffy.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

There was a team of 1 business analyst, 1 project manager, 1 UI/UX Designer, 2 Laravel developers, and 1 QA. There were total of 6 team members.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They are very professional in the overall project management and they follow a client-oriented approach to manage the overall project. All our requirements and functionalities were very well documented by them. Also, they have their own project management tool on which each and every information related to the project was mentioned by them. The project was divided in milestones and they provided regular updates and demos. After every meeting they provided clear and to the point minutes of meetings for our records. Each and every task was meticulously planned. All the timelines and deadlines were followed strictly by the Explorate team and they gave the updates for each milestone on time. They used the communication tools according to my comfort and also their project management system has the facility for messaging and comments. This enabled smooth communication and eventually seamless project management.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their proactive and effective communication was the most impressive part that left us in awe. They were always available for us and resolved the queries. We don't remember even a single instance where we pinged them and we haven't got an instant response. Also, their problem-solving skill are excellent and they provide an accurate solutions. The team at Explorate aligned their efforts in tandem to the vision that we had envisaged.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing as such but we would like to mention just one thing, they proceed with every phase after getting approvals so, at times when we were busy, it took a bit time to proceed to next phase but their quality of work is so high that they should not wait for approvals. Apart from this, we don't think of any areas of improvement, they are a great service provider.
