How did you select Evercode Lab and what were the deciding factors?

The company was known to us.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Key deliverable is a stepper application developed in react.js, typescript and node.js Stepper comprises of multiple steps and different flows that are initiated by user's choice. Integrations with different vendors were required, like email, phone authentication and customer verification (KYC).

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

2+1 developers and a Project Manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

At first the deliverables were not excellent, mainly due to not having enough technical input to the Evercode team. This changed when we hired a developer ourselves as well. This helped us to generate better tasks and in the end receive a more efficient application. From Evercode labs, there could have been more proactivity in a technical sense, how to convert the monolith application into micro services for example.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

Communication is still quite intense, especially on sprint planning days, but overall I'm quite happy with it. Communication took place via email, slack and JIRA.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

You're a development company, it's quite hard to be impressive. Especially in my eyes, where design comes from our side. Communication is great, honestly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There are always areas for improvement:

• I would prefer if developers would be comfortable communicating in English as it's the official language in our company.
• Initially, it would have been nice to get more experienced developers onboard, we spent time reworking the application due to that.

Best JS developer I have ever seen. They worked with fast and deep dive skills into the project.
