I'm the founder of a soluble water-soluble solutions company.

What challenges were you trying to address with Eval Tour Technologies?

We were trying to implement new systems and processes with a new capital investment we acquired for machinery, and we wanted to create a plan and procedure to run it efficiently.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Eval Tour Technologies provided business consulting services for us. We had less documentation about the machinery than we had liked, so our work with them was trial and error, which was part of the initial challenge. Nonetheless, we gave them a brief of what we wanted from the project, and they started from there.

Eval Tour Technologies' team suggested running a couple of hundred trials to gather data and analyze the results to learn how to operate best — it was a very data-driven project. They also provided operating guidelines and procedures for the machinery's best use, advised us on new capital machinery investments, and found out if certain equipment would make sense for our operation.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After working with Eval Tour Technologies, things started to flow seamlessly without confusion in our processes. This enabled us to correct any problems more easily and reduce our investment loss from 80% to 30%.

How did Eval Tour Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Eval Tour Technologies did a great job communicating, training all our staff, being very proactive with the tasks, and ensuring we understood things through and through. Regarding tools for project management, we created a Microsoft Project plan and a timeline.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Eval Tour Technologies' perseverance was their best attribute. This wasn't an easy task because we had no information on how our machine worked. Still, their team took the challenge to learn and proactively figure out how to best operate everything, so I was impressed by that.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, their team wanted to over-communicate to all levels of the company, which created double work in some aspects.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a clear brief of what you want and expect from the project, and ensure they know the project well enough in advance — they have a bright, proactive team that can take any challenge and provide strong results.
