For what projects/services did your company hire Enterosoft, and what were your goals?

We had an old and slow webside, we needed totally new platform, that contains fully upgraded services. Our main goal to achive, was quick and UX frendly platform.

How did you select Enterosoft and what were the deciding factors?

The main factor that we focused on was quick development. We decided for modern and scalable tech.

We delivered designs packs. Enterosoft built whole backend infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, with main language GoLang. On frontend site, we have Next.js and fully scalable solutions.

15 team members, included : architect, senior developers, mid developers, project manager

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

research speed increased for around 50 times. we have new funcionalities in the webside. webside is now scalable, and we can handle any traffic

we had regular meetings, that showing us progress of work and scopes for next periods

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The company continuously supports us, and they quickly respond to all issues. We received a lot of valuable insights and advice during the conceptual work. What is more, clear communication and our needs were always their priority.

During the whole project we had knowledge of works being done, so the expenditures were transparent and controllable

All was good

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m running two companies at the moment. One is a software house where we do basic web development for landing pages and such. 

I also have a company called Battlesta.sh which is a brick-and-mortar shop in Poland. We sell tabletop games, board games, card games, and more. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Enterosoft?

We wanted a software tool that would basically track all our competitors and allow us—based on the changes in stock— to automatically order products for our partner shops to make sure that we would always be well-stocked. I was well-versed in frontend work but I was not skilled when it comes to backend development. That was the reason why I hired Enteresoft.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our software would ensure that our warehouse wouldn’t be filled with items that we couldn’t sell. Moreover, we wanted real-time internet scraping.

As a result, the team created the proper architecture for maintaining all the data related to all the shops. We also wanted them to do it as fast as they could so we started with only a few of the shops. The team developed everything on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 

What is the team composition?

I worked directly with Wojciech (Partner), but I don’t really know how many people were working on our project. 

How did you come to work with Enterosoft?

I had worked with Wojciech on the same project together in the past. After some time, he started his own software house. I became very occupied eventually, so I talked to Enterosoft to see if they were available for additional work, and they were. 

We agreed to start the project together after I proposed my idea to them. They came back to me a week later with a quote as well as the timeline and the services they would provide. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September–December 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They handled everything I wanted them to do and now I don’t need to worry about having additional servers because they built everything on the GCP. 

I didn’t have any metrics available but I spent quite a lot of time in the IT world, enough to say that working with Enterosoft was a pleasure. Wojciech was also a technical person, so I didn’t need to explain a lot of details to him. We didn’t have to waste time on meetings discussing what we wanted to do but rather focused on the technical challenges that would arise during the project.

How did Enterosoft perform from a project management standpoint?

The most important thing was having access to GitHub and seeing all the changes in the codebase when working in the frontend. We almost exclusively used email to communicate and had our requests placed in written form. The rest of the communication was via phone call or video call and whatever was available at the moment.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I highly appreciated that Wojciech knew exactly how to do things. He had a lot of expertise with the GCP. I liked having concrete plans and they provided that.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, everything went well. They didn’t even extend our deadline, which I found impressive.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just be open and straightforward from the start. Wojciech is a seasoned developer, so there’s no need to focus on the business stuff because he knows what solution you need.

I am the owner of MOVCAR.APP platform - a vehicle management app for drivers, car owners.

To relocate our servers and infrastructure from a previous provider to AWS, to manage the solution, optimize and keep at a high availability rate.

Flexibility, pricing, communication skills, experience in cloud computing of the team and previous projects

1. Analysis of needed resources based on initial provider setup
2. preparation of AWS infrastructure
3. relocation of the App servers, website, administration panels
4. maintenance of the solution

We used from 1-4 resources of different specialties during the whole duration of the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Solutions implemented on AWS helped us to reduce our operating costs and also improved our availability rate.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their team is flexible and was able easily to connect with our developers in Romania

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're very speedy when it comes to responding and orienting themselves towards solutions.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Within the projects that we were running, everything was good and no room for improvement
