Veereo hired Emizen Tech to help get us to the MVP phase through launch. Our goals are/were to launch successfully with a fully functioning application.

We selected Emizen Tech through the Business of Apps website. We vetted their team of developers and chose them because of their performance and responsiveness.

Our scope of work consisted of numerous add-ins, APIs, KPIs and mobile screen aesthetic changes. Emizen was able to not only deliver, but bring in suggestions that totally upgraded Veereo’s front-end and make our platform function much smoother.

We worked with a development team that consisted of three individuals. Their performance was/is more than amazing; specifically because, they offer 24hour responsiveness, their attention to detail is unmatched, and they offer feedback as well as testing with the end user for each task/milestone.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our project was in complete disarray before Emizen Tech took over. Our build had multiple errors and glitches involving the functionality. Within two weeks of Emizen Tech stepping in, a complete relief was felt from our end as they practically took our project and made sense out of what we were attempting to build.

Considering that Emizen Tech offers around the clock assistance, each employee stays active. Questions are formally addressed via email and informal messaging is conducted via Skype. Their timeliness is around the clock; meaning, they offer 24-hour service.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Emizen Tech works alongside you if need be; however, they are able to see obvious fixes and glitches themselves before it has to be discussed and they take the initiative by fixes the obvious problems. They lay out a very detailed spreadsheet outlining everything they will be working on with a spot on estimation of the amount of hours needed to fix each detailed function.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As for improvement, I see nothing that needs improvement. They were a very efficient team that works for the benefit of bettering your product as well as meeting the needs of their employer.

Putting the upgrade live went with minimal downtime. Most importantly, virtually no bugs occurred in the live environment after the upgrade.

Emizen Tech provides a project manager to supervise the programmers. No additional payment is required for this project manager.

Emizen Tech's programmers need more hours because they also test well. Ultimately, this results in savings because few bugs are found after delivery. This way of working is also good for the reputation of Eijdems Internet.

Improvements are needed/possible in every business. A point of attention is the timely signaling of inability to reach the set dealine.

With almost 200,000 Microfinance customers in Ghana, and with almost 70% of these customers involved retailing in markets and shops, there was a need to link them to suppliers. The linking of these retailers to product suppliers will make their restocking easier, more efficient and less expensive. This findings got us to hire Emizentech to build the marketplace that will serve this purpose.

We mostly searched online and with cost a major factor, Emizentech was a real contender and eventually their pricing and profile fit into our budget.

After selection based on their response to our RFP, we had a kickoff meeting to scope out the implementation. Emizentech shared their project plan and tasks. We gave approvals to acquire licenses on our behalf to enable the development. They utilised Magento and other tools. They connected to SMS service providers in Ghana and also to Payment Gateway providers in Ghana to ensure we provide payment options acceptable to customers.
