Emizen Tech designed and developed a custom web platform for a recruiting firm. The platform serves as a single source of truth for all candidate- and client-related information.
Emizen Tech launched the platform on schedule and saw meaningful improvements across the board. Emizen Tech was incredibly responsive and organized. The team spent time learning how recruiting works, the nuances of executive search, and more.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the founder and CEO of AccuSource Group, a specialized recruiting firm that connects health technology companies with top executive and commercial talent to support long-term success.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Emizen Tech?
We needed to build a custom recruitment platform that could handle our unique workflow, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing client relationships and tracking placements through every stage of the hiring process.
We wanted to replace our clunky, off-the-shelf CRM with something tailored to executive recruiting, where personal relationships and long-term engagement are everything. We also needed to integrate our platform with job boards, LinkedIn, email automation tools, and calendar scheduling so our recruiters could work more efficiently without switching between a dozen different tabs.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Emizen Tech has designed and developed a custom web platform that serves as our single source of truth for everything candidate- and client-related. The scope has covered the full development lifecycle. The team started with a discovery phase where they mapped our recruiting workflows, including how we source candidates, manage outreach, track interviews, and close placements.
Emizen Tech has built a candidate database with advanced search and filtering, a client management module with deal tracking, a pipeline view similar to a sales CRM but built specifically for recruiting, and an activity logging system that captures every email, call, and meeting automatically.
The team has also integrated the platform with LinkedIn for profile pulling, with job boards for posting and tracking applications, and with email platforms for automated outreach sequences. On the reporting side, Emizen Tech has built a dashboard that shows us real-time data on placements, revenue, candidate sourcing channels, and recruiter productivity. The whole platform is cloud-based with role-based access so our team can work from anywhere.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 6-10 person from their team.
How did you come to work with Emizen Tech?
We found Emizen Tech through a referral and Clutch. We chose them over other options because their pricing fit our budget and offered good value for the cost. Additionally, Emizen Tech was referred to me, and their company values aligned with ours.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Emizen Tech in October 2024 to May 2025.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve launched the platform on schedule and have seen meaningful improvements across the board since then. The average time our recruiters spend on administrative tasks has dropped by roughly 35%, which means they spend more time talking to candidates and clients rather than juggling spreadsheets and manual data entry.
Our placement velocity has increased by about 25% within the first four months. We’re closing deals faster because we’re not losing candidates in the pipeline due to manual follow-up delays. Our time-to-fill for open positions has dropped from an average of 42 days to about 32 days, a 24% improvement.
Candidate response rates have improved by about 20% because our email sequences are now automated and more personalized. Our recruiters can also actively manage more candidates at once — that’s gone from about 35 to nearly 55, a 57% increase in capacity.
Client satisfaction scores, which we track through post-placement surveys, have climbed from 4.2 to 4.7 out of 5. Our win rates on exclusive searches have improved from about 65% to 78% because we’re providing better visibility and more frequent updates to our clients throughout the search process. Our Net Promoter Score among candidates has improved from +32 to +51, which we’ve never seen before.
Revenue per recruiter has increased by roughly 22% year over year after the platform launched. And perhaps most importantly, we’ve been able to grow our team by adding three new recruiters without needing to upgrade our technology or hire additional support staff because the platform scales with us.
How did Emizen Tech perform from a project management standpoint?
Emizen Tech has been incredibly responsive and organized. We use a combination of Jira for tracking tasks, Slack for daily communication, and weekly Zoom demos to review progress. Their project manager keeps us on schedule and is always available when we have questions.
There have been a few times we’ve asked for scope adjustments, such as adding integrations with additional job boards, and Emizen Tech has accommodated those changes without derailing the timeline. When we’ve found bugs during testing, the team has fixed them within 48 hours and never made us feel like we were being a burden.
What I really appreciate is their patience. We’re not a tech company, so we don’t always articulate our needs perfectly, but Emizen Tech asks the right questions and helps us define what we actually need.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Emizen Tech’s ability to understand our business despite not being recruiters themselves is impressive. The team has spent time learning how recruiting works, the nuances of executive search, and the importance of relationships in our industry. That means they’ve built a platform that feels intuitive to our team rather than forcing us to adapt to a generic product.
Emizen Tech has also brought ideas to the table that we hadn’t considered, like the sourcing channel analytics and the candidate engagement metrics, which have genuinely improved our decision-making. It feels like they care about our success, not just delivering a project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The initial data migration support could have been more hands-on. We’ve handled the data cleanup ourselves, which is fine, but a few more sessions where Emizen Tech walks us through best practices would have saved us some trial and error.
Additionally, the team has had a tendency early on to use technical jargon in some of their documentation that our non-technical team has struggled to follow. When we’ve asked for plain-language versions, Emizen Tech has provided them quickly, but it would have been better if they had written everything in accessible language from the start. Neither of these is a deal-breaker, just small friction points in an otherwise smooth engagement.
