I work at a radio station company with stations all over Colombia. Our primary income source is through publicity.

What challenge were you trying to address with Emdiem Creative Lab?

We hired Emdiem Creative Lab to assist with app development. We have five different chains of music genres. We have a website and had developed mobile apps with them. We wanted to renew the app for our main channel.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team developed the app for iOS and Android. The code was native, and the database was built using MongoDB.

In total, we worked with five or six people. We had a project manager, someone in charge of graphic design, and a tester.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The app is completed, but we’re working with Emdiem Creative Lab on updates and maintenance. Our previous apps weren’t native, which made updates complicated. We solved that issue because of Emdiem Creative Lab.

The quality of the product was great. Our downloads increased around 60%. We also received great comments from our users.

How did Emdiem Creative Lab perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team used Slack for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team at Emdiem Creative Lab was excellent at translating our business into an app. Along with providing great advice, they were also very proactive. They would take our suggestions and improve upon them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had a few delays that weren’t necessarily dependent on them, but they could be more clear in letting us know beforehand.
