Edge Tech Studio was directly responsible for the full redevelopment of the NuSpec platform from concept through deployment. The application was designed to operate as a web-based platform with secure cloud storage. Data collection can be undertaken from any mobile device, including operation in offline mode for up to 24 hours, with automatic synchronization once connectivity is restored.The system has been developed to comply with relevant Australian standards and enables real-time reporting, data capture, and secure record storage.The project was highly complex, involving many technical components and integrations. However, the end result was intentionally designed to be simple and intuitive for users while remaining flexible enough to be applied across multiple disciplines, substrates, and inspection scenarios.Edge Tech Studio's work included system architecture and solution design, UI/UX design, full application development, cloud infrastructure integration, offline functionality, automated reporting, and alignment with relevant Australian standards.

Since the redevelopment of NuSpec, the platform has delivered measurable improvements across usability, efficiency, and data integrity.Key outcomes include:Overall, the redevelopment has transitioned NuSpec from a standalone tool into a scalable, enterprise-ready platform that enhances operational efficiency, reporting quality, and compliance confidence.At this stage, while formal benchmarking was not undertaken before redevelopment, operational feedback and comparative workflow analysis indicate clear performance improvements.Based on field use:We're currently gathering more formal usage analytics to provide precise performance metrics; however, practical field results and user feedback confirm substantial gains in efficiency, accuracy, and overall usability compared to the previous version.
