The project aimed to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for an NFT marketplace built on the Solana blockchain. The team embarked on an intensive Research and Development phase to identify the optimal programming language for the project. Operating in an agile workspace, the team prioritized rapid learning and fast-paced delivery, necessitating quick adaptations and on-the-fly recruitment of additional resources. 
Key deliverables included the development of a functional MVP, allowing stakeholders to assess and test the platform. Simultaneously, the team focused on building a robust development team capable of handling both the MVP and future projects. Beyond technical aspects, the project extended its scope to recruit essential operational, legal, and marketing teams within the organization. 
The ambitious timeline for these objectives required all components to be successfully delivered within a challenging 12-month timeframe.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Drifting Desk could have done differently?

Firstly, incorporating early starting shifts for some team members, particularly those in the UK, might enhance collaboration across different time zones and ensure more real-time coordination. Secondly, given the novel nature of the remote setting for everyone involved, implementing a structured training or onboarding program for new staff could be beneficial. 
This could encompass familiarizing them with collaboration tools, remote work protocols, and team dynamics to expedite their integration into the workflow. A well-structured onboarding process could potentially mitigate any learning curve challenges associated with the remote work environment.
