On various projects DNAMIC provided highly skilled devs for the creation of APIs using typescript, node, express, Apollo, React/NextJS, on AWS mostly serverless (Lambda, API Gateway etc. with RDS). The engineers assisted in leading API development and deployment as well as implementing modern scalable front ends using React.

Deadlines were nailed, and any checkup we did with the clients always included comments on the thoughtfulness of the devs from DNAMIC about their thoughtfulness of solutions and collaborative ability. The engineers that DNAMIC brings to the table are smart, and talented but also just nice folks who are easy to work with.

Our business relationship with Dnamic started by them taking over as the lead developer for the CLMA application. Through this, Dnamic had to learn the technology and understand the business purpose in order to effectively meet our ongoing needs for the CLMA and CWDA.

Over time the relationship has evolved into maintenance of the platform and AWS database through a SLA. There have also been multiple new feature development projects -- the Safety Benchmarking Portal, the Wage Escalator, expansion of the Project Labor Forecaster, and multiple other small feature development.

• The work Dnamic has engaged in with us has been successfully completed and has become an important part of our product offering to our clients.

Overall, Dnamic has been a good development partner. There have been projects where the hourly rate for the developer has been too high relative to that developer's skill. There have also been instances where there was disagreement about what was in or out of scope. There have been other times where delivery was later than needed and expected. 

In all instances we were able to work out an arrangement that was acceptable to everyone. I have appreciated that and feel like it has enabled us to have a continuously good working relationship. This is important to me because we rely on Dnamic in a significant way.

As an ongoing staff augmentation implementation, the scope of work is based on our overall product roadmap. The DNAMIC team has been embedded with the overall technology team and provides a majority of the staff and talent for the Software Engineering team. 

Over the course of the near year the team has been working with us, we have focused on quarterly deliverables that include new business pathways and key new feature development; all while maintaining the existing application, including issue management and performance improvements.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are able to treat the DNAMIC team as any full-time development team we may hire. Working in a kanban mode, we expect continual progress on roadmap items, as well as high quality of the product. 

When we have a need to deliver on a specific roadmap item early, we express the expectation and continue to communicate it while measuring the team on that expectation. These expectations may vary from feature to feature, but the team adjusts to the changing expectations as needed.

We have been handling product and project management for the DNAMIC team. They have a team lead as part of the team that handles more challenging technical matters, while also providing backup agile coaching and story break-down when needed. We operate using mostly kanban (agile in a more general sense) and the team has fit well into that. 

Being a core aspect of agile methodologies, we continually monitor the team velocity and set newer, higher-performing expectations with each iteration of work completed. The team is definitely improving in their overall velocity.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

After speaking to several companies about the services and teams they could deliver, the one thing that set DNAMIC apart was their acknowledgement that things don't always go as planned. As a result of that acknowledgement, they upfront drafted into the contract their obligations if someone on the team didn't work out. 

We very quickly had an opportunity to test their plan as a member of the team left within a couple of weeks following their start. DNAMIC leadership quickly replaced that team member with a member of their "bench" which allowed us to get back on track. While we haven't had any turnover of the rest of the team, this happens. Being prepared for it and committing to a plan before such an incident even occurs was a big deal for our small team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something DNAMIC could have done differently?

I don't have anything in particular in mind. The working relationship and results have been phenomenal. That is not to say there haven't been small tweaks along the way, but overall when small matters come up, DNAMIC is open to talk about those concerns and address them as needed. 

No small matter has ever become a large matter as a result. The operate with an eye towards continual improvement and do a great job of asking for the required feedback to make that a reality.

I am the Graphic and Digital Media Manager for Opera Omaha. Opera Omaha produces a season of original mainstage opera productions, presented at the historic Orpheum Theater, and smaller productions and musical events throughout the community. Opera Omaha is internationally known for its productions of eight world premieres and four American premieres of classical masterpieces and is highly regarded regionally for an extensive education and engagement program that annually reaches thousands from elementary school through adulthood.

DNAMIC built our current site in 2017. This specific project in 2022 was to update the functions and styles of a few small sections of our site.

Since we've partnered with DNAMIC since 2017 it was an obvious choice.

We first had a kick off meeting to discuss our list of changes/updates, including a few bug type fixes, creating some new templates for CMS use, and updating the site navigation structure. DNAMIC responded with a timeline laying out when each piece would happen. Once work started we had weekly check ins to go over and approve the work that had been done.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

All of our changes were implemented exactly how we wanted and the project went smoothly and stayed true to the proposed timeline.

Communication was primarily through email and video calls, but other options were available if needed.

Communication with DNAMIC is always easy. They are responsive to our needs and incredibly easy to work with.

We did fine one small bug after launching in a section of the site that we unrelated to what we were working on. More thorough testing of the entire site would have helped catch that before launching.

I am the VP of Engineering for Reibus International. We are an anonymous independent marketplace for buying and selling industrial materials. I am in charge of product delivery within Reibus.

We needed qualified senior engineers to augment our teams in our newest products, Finance and Logistics, to help me grow the teams quickly.

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

There were four factors I was looking for in a partner:

• First, I was looking for high quality senior talent we could get quickly, not junior or mid level.
• Second, I was looking for expertise in Low Code QA Automation tools we were looking to roll out.
• Third, I wanted to find a strategic partner that would grow with our growing needs.
• Finally, I needed people that could solve problems, not just do what they were told to. Dnamic checked all of these boxes.

Within 30 days they provided 4 senior engineers to start working on the teams. We had problems with one of them and were able to replace this person quickly so our business did not miss a beat. Once on the team, they were able to provide senior level engineering and oversight on these teams quickly.

A few months later I asked for help rolling out our Low Code QA Automation tool and they were able to provide me experts for this. In addition, they helped with the planning and rollout of this new tool throughout my organization.

For all the people they were able to provide the resumes and strengths of all their people. We took all the people they gave us quickly as we have learned that you really need to get your hands dirty to know if someone will work. When it was found out someone did not work, they gave us a new person and we made it successful quickly.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We pulled up these teams in a 30 day period, and had MVP products out within 3 months. Their engineers make up about 1/3 of each of these teams with Reibus employees making up the rest.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow is great. We integrate the teams directly onto our team and there is little difference between what a Reibus employee does and a Dnamic employee.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

DNAMIC seems to have a niche where they have great access to senior-level talent, and they can bring them in quickly. Most offshore firms can provide junior or mid level talent. I always struggle with senior level talent. However, when I needed help for my Low Code QA Automation project they were able to provide me the people I needed for that as well. This level of specific expertise is great to have in a partner.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They provide great value for the cost, but I do pay a premium to get access to this level of talent. I wish it was cheeper, but given the access to high quality talent and expertise, I truly am getting what I pay for.

With many challenges in staffing development and QA locally, we initially expanded our search across the US. When continuing to find a shortage of talented developers and escalating costs we decided to explore a nearshore options. We screened 9 separate companies across LATAM, and Dnamic stood out amongst the companies for their deep technical roots, commitment to a true partnership and dedication to their staff.

Dnamic has a deep technical expertise and is highly skilled at finding resources that fit our needs. We simply submit a job description, and Dnamic brings us any clarifying questions. From there, they have been rapidly able to deliver top tier candidates. While I don't have exact metrics, I'm sure we've hired over 50% of the candidates presented.

Every Dnamic resource we've added has been high quality. They are fully engaged members of our team, have extremely positive attitudes, are able to ramp up quickly and speak very highly of working for Dnamic.

Fantastic. The Dnamic management team stays very engaged in the ongoing business. I have near daily email communication with them regarding ongoing searches and logistics. In addition, we touch base regularly via video conference to discuss the state of our business and potential future direction. In addition to being a high-quality organization, the management team is made up of great people who are a pleasure to work with.

We had been working with another company, and DNAMIC helped us finalize the commercial and technical launch. It is not easy to take over another companies unfinished work, yet DNAMIC finished up on the code and migrated to a more robust architecture for deployment.

They also focused on building our marketing plan and finalizing our launch content. Next phase will be building out future offerings and continuing to improve our UX.

Since this is a new service offering to market, our goal was to gain adoption by the horse community to help them simplify their life and focus on the horse...not the paperwork. Our objective is to build a robust platform and gain user subscriptions per our financial plan.

DNAMIC was a referral based on work they had done in the engineering construction environment. I was introduced to this company through colleagues and thought they were an interesting fit for the project.

They had successfully navigated other "take-over" projects which was critical in my decision making. Also, they had strong work processes that I am familiar with from my engineering background.

The project was divided into two aspects...technical development and marketing. On the technical side, we had a systematic approach to allow time for DNAMIC to get up to speed on the code and conduct a risk assessment.

They defined a new architecture and built out the appropriate systems. Meanwhile, DNAMIC prepared a comprehensive marketing strategy that remained flexible based on estimated launch dates.

Although they knew nothing of the horse industry, they applied proven processes to get us to go live.

What was the team composition?

At the onset, we were assigned a project manager, developer, and QA. Additionally, we had amazing interaction with their CTO and technical lead to advise us on the preferred architecture.

From the marketing side, we were assigned one point of contact, but a team of 4-5 attends our weekly calls and is actively engaged on various aspects of our SEO and SEM

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After being very delayed in going live from the original developer, DNAMIC enabled us to go live. Further, they offer a very flexible approach. They are not trying to reinvent the wheel and redesign what is working. They are methodically developing epics and sprints for my future developments.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication is fantastic. For the technical team, we have daily 15 minute stand up calls to discuss any key topics. We schedule other time for deeper dives.

For the marketing team, our cadence is weekly calls, but also interim calls to further discuss any key topics. Further, the responsiveness has been amazing from ad hoc texts or emails.

They gave me access to JIRA and are setting up a custom dashboard to accommodate my preferences. We also use Trello and a file sharing system to manage project workflows and content.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive aspect is the ability to handle a take-over project. This was my biggest fear, and DNAMIC was simply fabulous to work with. We discussed the strategy to handle this transition and really didn't lose much time in the implementation.

The other aspect that I didn't appreciate until after working with them further is the integration of the technical development and marketing. I can have a great product technically, but if I don't reach the audience, then it doesn't matter.

They truly act as a partner.

At this time, I am completely satisfied. We successfully navigated a tricky transition from the former company to DNAMIC and they have been fantastic. They are truly transparent and I can't wait for what the future holds!

After completing the app we have reduced the sales teams time in managing leads by 60%. The app has created a customer journey that engages the customer and uses AI to guide and recommend ideas for them along the way. Some might say they want it done faster but I believe great things evolve as you build them and therfore take longer. In the end there is greater reward.
