To assist us in launching an AI-powered mental health companion app for individuals experiencing anxiety and panic attacks, we hired men. Our goal was to create more than just a chatbot. Our goal was to provide the user with immediate assistance while simultaneously transforming their experience into something measurable and beneficial over time.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They constructed the initial version from start to finish and assisted us in making wise scope choices to enable prompt delivery. An AI conversation flow that maintains context and converts sessions into organized symptom and mood entries that can subsequently aid in therapy was put into place.
I really valued the team's suggestion to include authentic community accounts derived from their own research. We put this idea to the test in a focus group, and it proved to be one of the most beneficial aspects of the experience since it made consumers feel less alone.
Additionally, they provided a clear analytics view that integrates manual inputs, conversation history, and Apple Health signals like heart rate and sleep so users, and possibly therapists,can spot patterns.

Project management was efficient and well organized. Deliverables were consistently on time, and the team was highly responsive, adapting quickly to feedback and changing priorities.

Communication and updates were generally excellent, but providing a few more intermediate progress check-ins could have made tracking minor adjustments even smoother.
