“We approach every project with a fresh eye and see business for what it is, not in which sector it may lie. The diversity of our clients, the opportunity to question and build on their strategy, and the possibility to transform business through digital inspires us on a daily basis”. - Will Wigram, Managing Director Diffusion Digital
George Smith are a luxury furniture brand who pride themselves on their beautifully hand-crafted furniture and the customisable service that they offer their clients.
With no e-commerce offering, bad UX, and a website that did not reflect the beauty and quality of their products, we were tasked with bringing their old-fashioned website up to date. Using Woocommerce, we created a complex e-commerce website for George Smith to sell not only stock products, but also Made to Order pieces and Fabrics (by length) as well. The result is a smooth e-commerce experience that clearly differentiates George Smith’s product categories and services.
The website has much more to offer than it’s product pages. One of our goals was to provide a platform for George Smith to show off their impressive project case studies, collections and blog posts. We therefore built an extensively modular website so that beautiful posts and pages could be created through the CMS using a wide variety of different modules. With such a large amount of content, this modular set up keeps every page looking fresh and unique.
Kisawa Sanctuary is a new luxury retreat based on the secluded Benguerra island of Mozambique. Kisawa Sanctuary aims to blend luxury travel with nature, environmental conservation and cultural design. Each of their 12 bungalows sits secluded on an acre of private land next to the Benguerra island beaches, ensuring total freedom and immersion in the landscape of the island.
As a completely new business, we were responsible for designing Kisawa’s website in advance of their opening in Summer 2020. The design needed to reflect the peace and luxury of the resort, whilst bringing aspects of their focus on environmental design into the website’s colour scheme and imagery. With limited images of the new resort, we turned to innovative ways to reflect the beauty and tone through the website’s design itself by using natural and abstract imagery.
The sandy colours used throughout the website provide a snapshot of the beautiful beaches of Benguerra island. Across the website, nature is at the forefront of the images that are used, with striking photographs of Benguerra island’s beaches and forest on every page.
Kisawa were keen to offer a completely customised online experience, which we achieved through a complex integration of the website with RMS Cloud’s API to create a booking flow with a wholly bespoke design and rules. The result is a booking flow that seamlessly blends in with the rest of the website, giving Kisawa the flexibility to determine how users engage with their bungalows and additional services throughout the booking process.
Paper London is a sustainable fashion brand offering cool & colourful women’s clothing, swim and resort wear. We support Paper London with digital marketing as well as website optimisation through design and development updates.
Initially, Paper London was relying on a single paid channel for sales and in need of digital marketing support in order to drive conversions and brand awareness. In order to realise the brand objectives, we undertook a discovery session where we identified target audiences, objectives and KPIs in order to make our approach as effective as possible.
Through this discovery, we identified that PPC activity should focus on the UK and Australian markets and product categories such as swimwear, sleepwear and outerwear which allowed us to target southern hemisphere Summer customers as well as those in the northern hemisphere looking at outerwear. The Paid Search trial period also faced a variety of macro trends that meant our agile & market-reactive approach had to be put to practice. Brexit and new Covid-19 restrictions meant our campaigns needed quick adjustment to continue delivering on our projections and brands expectations.
The collaborative approach we took during our Paid Search trial period meant the client is still harnessing strong results since then. The value added not only lies in the effective campaigns we supplied, but also in the strategic growth opportunities we shared as part of the knowledge we gathered through our data led approach.
Islas Secas is Panama’s only private island reserve and lodge that accommodates no more than 18 guests at a time. Consisting of an archipelago of 14 islands, located 15 miles off the coast of Panama, Islas Secas offers rare, exclusive access to one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world.
We were approached by Islas Secas in 2019 to work with them to give the brand a refresh. This included updating the overarching brand guidelines (logo, typography, colour palette and illustrative & photographic style), rolling this new look and feel out across their marketing and brand collateral (brochures, menus, stationary etc.) and creating a sub brand for their Spa offering.
We undertook a discovery workshop with key stakeholders to gain a well rounded insight into the brand, and created mood boards to represent the tone of the brand. From these, we created an illustration and pattern library as well as guidelines for a unified look and feel. With the guidelines now in place, we created a set of new brand and marketing assets that all presented the new creative direction. These included a sales brochure & factsheet, food and drinks menus, stationary and employee uniforms as well as an entirely new spa sub-brand.
Our most recent brand project with Islas Secas has been the re-design of their private Twin Otter plane.
As a longstanding client, Islas Secas chose to recently have their website completely redesigned and developed. This project is currently taking place, so keep an eye out for updates here https://islassecas.com/
Thom Sweeney is a British tailoring house based in Mayfair that offers a range of luxury menswear services, including Bespoke, Made to Measure and Ready to Wear suits for the likes of Ryan Gosling, Daniel Craig and David Gandy.
The client approached us at the beginning of 2020 to design and build a new website, which combines a shiny new eCommerce offering with a revitalised brand identity. Shortly after we partnered with Thom Sweeney saw the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, which meant that there was a more urgent need for a quick and user-friendly eCommerce platform, particularly as there was no eCommerce offering to facilitate online sales at this point.
In under four weeks, we configured a temporary eCommerce store for the client using a Shopify template, in order to allow Thom Sweeney to sell its Spring Summer 2020 collection online during the lockdown, whilst we worked on the larger-scale website project in line with the launch of their new London Flagship store. Following a successful Discovery phase, we worked collaboratively with the client to revitalise the existing brand identity and establish a new set of brand guidelines.
Thom Sweeney are first and foremost bespoke tailors, and so it was vital that the new website was designed in a way that showcases both the Bespoke and Made-to-Measure offerings, in a way that embodies the personalised in-store experience. We designed dedicated content-rich landing pages for each of these services in order to fully immerse users into the offline experience, with a view to encourage users to enquire to make an in-store appointment.
Starting out as a completely new concept, the exceptionally luxurious and naturally produced skincare brand Wildsmith Skin needed somewhere to present and sell their new product range.
Wildsmith is a luxurious and ethically produced skincare brand whose range of products are all derived from natural botanical sources – making them rich in bio actives and nutrients.
Bold yet delicate, we used neutral tones, light imagery and minimal text so that the new website design embodies the gentle nature of the skincare brand, who pride themselves on their cruelty-free, sustainable and environmentally sensitive practices.
