I’m the CEO of a subscription-based website called One Up Loops, and we provide unprogrammable royalty-free instrumental loops.

We needed to incorporate over 500,000 individual WAV files to our WordPress site where members can preview and download them individually or by batch.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

DEVOUT TECH was able to develop a table on our website where users can preview and download our WAV files, and create a custom subscription solution. They also designed our frontend and took care of everything related to the backend. 

Furthermore, they set up our Stripe payment system and are currently helping us manage and maintain our platform.

Our main point of contact is Devinder (Director), but I believe he’s working with a team in the backend.

We’ve spent a little over $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in March 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve gained over 250 users and 100 site visits a day since partnering with DEVOUT TECH. They’ve also helped improve our site’s performance, as I’ve not received any negative feedback since launch.

I’m 100% satisfied with their work which is why I’ve extended my contract with them.

They perform well from a project management perspective. They’re very well-priced compared to their competitors and they deliver the results we want while consistently meeting their timelines.

We typically communicate through Zoom and the messaging board on Upwork.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like the cost-effectiveness of their custom software solutions. They were able to save our company money to put in other areas of the business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There have been minor communication breakdowns here and there, but it’s something they’ve improved since.

I would advise being extremely clear about your expectations and needs, and use as many visual aids in the scoping phase as possible.

I've worked with the Devout Tech Consultants team on a number of projects over the past year and a half including large-scale custom platform and functionality development within WordPress.

I put out a request for proposal for a large project I was working on that required a high level of development expertise. The DEVOUT TECH CONSULTANTS PVT LTD's thoroughness and ability to get the job done were the reason I chose them.

The initial project we worked on together required a custom platform built into a WordPress website. The platform was meant to act as a marketplace to connect service providers and customers, allowing the service providers to apply for a profile, and when successful, add their profile details, services, availability, payment gateway links, and functionality to send Zoom links to paying customers.

Paying customers were able to search provider profiles, view their service availability, make payments, and receive automatic updates and zoom links via email.

I have communicated directly with 2 members of the Devout team - both being Co-Owners and team managers.

The Devout team completed all requirements extremely effectively, including additional pieces that weren't originally in scope.

They always go the extra mile to ensure all requirements are handled and are always extremely responsive to any requests or questions.

Since we were a new company starting out in 2019, we had a very big client and we were looking for a reputable company to work with to not just keep our business but to also create a strong relationship.

We searched online for many weeks, shortlisted a few companies and after looking at the portfolio of Devout, and speaking to their owner and staff on a zoom conference call, we decided that they were the right fit for us and the future of our company

We had multiple meetings and more so became friends in the process. They eventually started handling more projects for us including petty projects at a very affordable price which gave us a.n opportunity to make profit

We worked with their entire company ranging from the company owner, who was the point of contact, the graphic design team lead and the code design team lead

After launching our website, we started seeing about 50% growth in organic traffic within the first 90 days

We had frequent communication with the CEO. They’re very responsive we created an account on Asana where my team will post projects and within 10-18hrs turnaround time we get the feedback

Communication and passion for their work

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I will advise that they should go full scale meaning that they should hire a team of all trades including customer service who can serve clients and data entry staff
