We contracted Devocean Services to help with our client's company-wide initiative to overhaul legacy systems. 

• registrations / logins
• admin roles
• multimarket implementation
•  UX/UI, but most importantly backend & data management solutions

 they deep dived into changing table structure, indexes, partitioning , core logic of how data is insert and read. 

Improved the architecture of the existing system by removing layers of complexity and created micro services that better suit the needs of the business. The overall performance in relation to the benchmarks was improved by 200%.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• benchmark vs improved performance was 200%. Long-term vision, which allowed the architecture to support future data loads (heavy data-driven business). The client expressed a great satisfaction with the responsiveness of the system and the overall result of the project. The unified interface and the new responsiveness of the system ensured frictionless operations for our client, which was a very big issue that they were looking to solve.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Very prompt. Even on the additional items that came up in the process. They demonstrated transparency from day one and allowed us to moderate our desired rate of involvement.. We discussed the participation levels of involvement in the process prior to committing so we had the best mix going forward. In terms of needs, they managed to scope out most of our requirements within the workshops and assessment meetings, so the process was extremely smooth.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Once we saw the effort on the scoping and requirements gathering phases, we collectively knew that we are in safe hands. It just took some of the pressure off, in terms of confirming to ourselves that we have the right vendor for the job.

I cannot recollect such areas.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Withing 3,5 months we were testing a beautifully designed platform that had all the requested features. No bugs or problems were encountered since we have completed our work.

I was very impressed with the requirements gathering phase. They were absolute professionals but the communication was very pleasant and easy. They knew immediately what needs to be done. They prior to the deadline, ensuring the projects has additional few days of testing. Exceptional response to communication and needs, very transparent and punctual.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They translated my concept into reality. It one thing to draw it up in the contracts and initial communication but to make it happen takes expertise and execution. The other unique thing is their entrepreneurial experience which I think was vital for how they managed to communicate the best possible features for the project, without blowing the project timeline or budget out of proportion.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Devocean Services could have done differently?

Not that I can think of. I am very pleased with the execution ,the overall way of work and communication
